Are the thermal pads for RTX 3060 the same size?
RTX 3060 will vary on different Brands..they're not using same thickness.

Hi bro! i've researched it for you regarding the Palit RTX 3060 dual..they use 2mm for the VRAMs and 1mm for the VRM's strip. hope this helps.

I don't have Tutorial video on that particular gpu bro..sorry! try to search you might find one or similar like rtx 1660 non ti version and check if they looks similar and use a similar fans..and follow that video, it might help you bro.
the thermal pads of this gpu are the same as the rtx 3060 ti pny xlr8? because they have the same heat sink and pcb. Can confirm this pliss? thank you!
Hi bro! on this particular card RTX 3060ti Dual OC this has two different thickness 2mm and 1mm. I can't confirm regarding your question about the PNY RTX 3060ti XLR8 because i haven't done that particular card yet on my Studio.
what did you use to clean off the thermal paste with?
Isoprophyl alcohol, pick 99.9%

Hi, i recent buy a 2nd hand palit 3060ti dual oc, (yes a "6 month" mined one) and i am getting 42°c on idle and 86°c max, but the "hotspot" is 57°c idle and 105°c at max, paste and thermal pads are the originals, do u recommend to change paste or just send it back and refund ?
Above 95 deg cause you thermal throttle, it drop the performance to cool down the chip and preserve its lifespan. I would recommend repasting your gpu with good quality thermal paste, use NOCTUA NT_H2, ARCTIC MX6 or other reputable paste and change all the pads on the correct thickness and Good quality ones like Arctic, Gelid etc. And run MSI AFTERBURNER KOMBUSTER " TEST" to check how it perform regarding thermals. @@TakeThatScrewOut 95 deg normal temp or hotspot, i been playing and not see thermal throttling or stutters, i am just asking because that 20 deg difference between what i see on hdmonitor hotspot temp and what ppl is freaking about in forums Lol... Ofcourse you can bro if thats what you want..but that could affect when you sell it in the future because its been painted, most buyer prefer the stock one. Up to you bro. Just use spray paint and plastic primer before the final topcoat
This is wrong you need to spread the thermal paste all over the chip or it may die. GPU pasting is different than CPU.
Hi bro! We have our own opinion and own way on how to do it..about what you said, kind of i agree and disagree..i agree that its good to spread the paste on the die with spreader..and also its also good not to spread the paste, just drop enough amount of paste on center then press it with the heatsink plate and screw in evenly, that could give e similar result..i've done both techniques in the past multiple of times..they both works..that depends on which one is convenient for you..

@@MK68ii I understand what you mean bro..my way of doing it has been tested and proven that also works..and besides, i've used that techninque personally because for me is more easier and quicker to do..that's the reason. But you're right bro..spreading the paste into the die is the recommended way on how to do it to make sure the paste would spread evenly.
