Cambelt service interval

So while we wait to find out whats going on with my failed turbo I decided to get on with replacing my timing belts, both for the engine and the diesel pump. This isn't a how to but i will leave a link further down to a playlist of how too's. In this video I also give away my top tip, but this is for the more experienced who already have an understanding on how this engine and diesel pump work.

put a tar poling over your garage door and over the top of the t4 can get to work then. Stay blessed

That’s a cheaper option and quicker than a gazebo. I could of put a bit of batten from the centre of garage to the van 🤦‍♂️

Audi have just increased the cambelt service interval on all Audi's. I think my son (Audi trained mechanic) said 10 years or 100K miles. Since we have an Audi engine in the T4, good times. 😄

I wouldn’t like to leave mine for 10 years. I read somewhere that the tensioner should be replaced every 3 years but the belt is 6 years or a certain mileage(which I can’t remember off the top of my head)

It's only a bit of water, you get wetter every night in the shower/bath😂
Mate, I always put INA on mine, quality kit and as you say, OEM spec. I do believe VW use INA from factory.
Have you got any ACV injector clamps going spare?
Might be worth your while buying one of these pop up gazebo things for when you're working on any of your vehicles.

I’m not worried about me getting wet, it was more water getting into the engine with camcase cover off. Yeah good quality INA I’ve used them on other vehicles 👍
I’ll have a look see what I got, but I don’t think I have. That’s a good shout and I’ll look into a pop up gazebo 👌
