Happy new year Denny, most people got paid on Friday mate, why did you think it was going to be quite 😀 Saturday bounced all day mate. My best hour was £42 .... belter .... i was also shocked 😲 but as you, pleased shocked....
@@Chris-k4c1zsame to u all the best m8. always thought payday was the last working day of the month or the last Friday of the month. Making payday this Friday coming. (Not complaining like lol)
@DriverDenny lots of businesses pay last Friday, as January is a 5 week month and as everyone is skint a lot pay a week earlier, but hey, who's complaining, a nice little present for us at the weekend 😀 👍👍
When they ask me to go a different route I explain I can but it’s slower that way due to the country lanes and bumps etc but they still insist I go that way because they have gone that way all there life. So I go that way and drive 20-30mph due to the bumps, turns and darkness etc. they then sit in the back saying “oh it’s slow this way isn’t it”. I explain to them just because they do 60-70mph in there car down the country lanes doesn’t mean I can do it with passengers in the back 😂 Imagine flying down the country lanes over bumps and dips with passengers flying around in the back they would soon have something to say about it.
Hey Denny… regards people telling you the ‘best route’ to drive personally I think they should sit back, chill, and let you do your job 🤐 Would you mind talking a little bit about Private Hire insurance and the costs and any advice for a new Private Hire driver. Fankkkks 🙃🤟
Hi mate how is Birmingham? Is Birmingham busy? Appreciate your help :) May i also ask how long does it usually take for the application process to become a uber driver? Please reply back boss man thank you
i have heard brimingham isint to busy with alot of drivers, however i have heard that about every city. the process time depends what Council your getting it from. (3-12months)
@DriverDenny thank you. May I ask if I apply now and get accepted. Does the license expire? For example if I get everything sorted now and not work for a couple years will I still need to reapply?
Hello mate, in Antwerp Belgium for a long weekend at the moment, Uber here have a starting charge of €10, each driver i spoke to couldn't believe it that we have £3.70 jobs 😀, we are getting ripped off in the U.K, €10 for 5 mins 1.5 miles, happy days here.
Every country is different. Most drivers who have driven for uber for the past few years and kept records of their earnings have noticed decreases of around 30% over just the past two years..
I can't remember being charged more with low battery, if it's quiet i pay less and vice versa. Pretty sure the lawsuit for them would be too awful to make it worthwhile if it was true
Its normal.. You're not meant to earn too much with uber though, people who say they're earning so and so much really need to meticulously calculate their ONLINE TIME.. mines calculated meticulously and, no word of a lie its genuinely minimum wage or just a bit over but only in some weeks. I've got all my records from the last 4 months to prove it.
Managed to bag £184 in 4hrs Sunday morning just gone, no idea what happened but my best day on Uber/bolt since I started
@@BM77736 welcome to the channel and very nice mate. It's crazy how it can happen sometimes 😄
Same picture for me down here in Portsmouth on uber.
Your hourly on Saturday and hourly on Sunday pretty much matched mine.
😊
@@steviesmiler nice to know, that your normal/expected for there ?
Good shift mate. January hasn't been as bad as first feared!
Haha ya. Weird one this year.

wow! if only, how are they getting away with that.
@DriverDenny they reckon an average 8 hour shift pulls in €300 😢
€300 in pounds = £252.32 / 8 = £31.5.. only beat that on new years eve with high surges :(

January... Week before payday and earning more than a Norman Sat 😮
@@connectlogic I know right! I did stress in the video it wasn't normally like that.
After tax you’re not left with much🤨
You mean after tax. insurance fuel. car payment. valet car repairs oil changes and council fees?
@@connectlogic 😆 🤣 ya he missed a few.
@ yes. After all that is paid off, that’s what you actually pocket! Plus government tax and national insurance number.
What tax??
