Thank you Brent, most enjoyable. That was well acted, more believable than a lot of movies. And I like how you positioned people to show how effective the camouflage pattern on the uniforms could be.
Top film. I heared tales like this from my grandpa. But a left hand shooter in the Waffen SS.....unthinkable. Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹 The home of Steyr, Gasser, Luger and Glock.
Was it Mrs. 0331 at the beginning? Very good Brent ! Stay safe man ! It is going to be bad in US ( like it is in Italy now). Audio is done perfectly including “handgranate” in perfect moment 👍
Brent that's awesome. It took a lot more time to film the scenes, edit it, and make it all come together for "just" 5:30 minutes of final video. well done.
Couldn't be more right man, people have no idea! We spent about 8 hours out there filming this and it took me about 3 days of editing to get this 5 minutes.
Best part about Brent's productions is he doesn't waste time getting to know the actors. Everyone is going to die anyway. Mrs. Brent enjoyed that scene a little too much...
Well made movie. Always had been interested in ww2 history, in my case it is more easy to access it directly- i have been living in region where- once was trapped german army group "Nord" later renamed "Kurland" from autumn 1944.- till may 1945., if you have maps you can find the old battlefields, hence the remains from fortifications. More exciting is the metal detecting on those areas- been doing it for a long time, every item found tells a story.
There is a short film series made by some European lads called "Kurland" from the German perspective. Kinda humanizing when you realize everyone had their role to play, and those boys thought it was for king and country. Not as evil as the books would tell us.
Woah, woah, woah! Did not expect this. Mondo packed with what you need for the weekend. Hehe, let's roll, thanks Brent! And the WWII German camos again! Great to see how they work amazingly well in the autumn environment. You got a lot of people to come film with you, that's great and always great to see, though not so easy to organize.
Great video, guys! This was fun to watch. I liked seeing the various patterns being implemented well, and the sniper gal had this smirk like, "Dah, I have overwatch." lmao
Wow, thank you Brent, your videos have always been good but keep getting better and better. We appreciate the time and effort you guys put into these. Really awesome👌
THAT WAS GREAT! what a huge amount of work must have went into that. especially loved the attention to detail in ammo bearers bring more cans up. 1st tier movies dont show those kind of little details. love the hot commie sniper too.
my father (from germany) found a "kartentasche" my grandfather (german side) just like the one at 2:44 my grandfather (german side) was a "Kradfahrer Melder" ( something like a recon on a motorbike) and defended the "Brücke von Remagen" (bridge of remagen). My mum is from the USA (her dad was born in canada and my grandma came to the USA in the early 50s... my grandpas heritage is german and spanish) and my dad is from germany (100%). One of my grandpa's friends fought in Remagen on the american side. My german grandpa fought on the german side (i never met him, cuz he died 5 months before i was born). My father told me what he went through. And my grandpa's friend told me what he went through, he died last year. idk if any one cares ... just wanted to share this story cuz the "kartentasche" reminded me.
Nice special effects!! Did Re-enacting for 40+ years, to old now. I sure do miss it. Course, I had to play the bad guy. Bought my first MP-40 for $1000. Mg-42 was $5000.
Ha, wouldn't say that but we did our best with what we had to work with. I think between all of us we came up with a lot of quality gear and uniforms for this video.
@@Brent0331 you certainly did. I would love to be able to do more small scale scirmishes like this one, since they pretty much always look authentic. Instead we always need to charge across an open field with hay bales for cover and as many tanks as can fit in the dam field.
Brings me right back to my days of playing in the woods with friends! We never had nearly as cool of props, but having a good imagination certainly helped back then. Thanks for making and sharing this, Brent! Another awesome little short film...
Thanks man, I added a lot of that. My MG-42 (Yugo M53) is converted to semi-automatic so I had to add sound and flash to make it sound like a fully automatic MG-42.
WoW ... that was epic, you guys really pulled out all the stops there, lady sniper was a hottie ... and love the amoeba camo, not something you see everyday.
Damn if you guys couldn't make some short films that would be bad ass. I know that's what these are, pretty much. But, I mean, with acting, and a plot, and action. You guys have came a long ass way in your craft. Awesome job.
Dude that is an awesome video I bet it was a lot of hard work thanks to you and everybody involved thanks do more please even modern battles I like this a lot thanks
WOW, really well made, you really had a lot of authentic gear and clothing gathered up for this one, and even real "German shouting" in the background. I must say, that it is impressive, how well these old camo patterns perform, here, (noone in the splinter tarn, though, as far as I recall?) Also the plain, solid color uniforms are interesting to see, in this environment, put up against each other. I must say, that to me, the "effectiveness victory" goes to the "Russian brown", over the "German field grey" ones. I hope, that you had so much fun, all of you, that you might consider doing more of such stuff, maybe also a "summer version", (even if still a lot of green grass left here,) or something from the "Western front"? Nice day, to all, and looking forward to the next!!
looks like they all enacted SS, and Splinter was used in Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe, the one thing I could say against the camo is, that they almost exclusively used the pea dot pattern, while in reality most SS troops had to wear old stock oak leaf camo, or even plantane, the latest pattern wasn't very widespread. logistics were stretched to the limits and beyond in the last months of the war. you used what you had. All in all this was a great short movie.
@@couchcamperTM Yes, I thought of the same thing, afterwards, SS did not use splinter tarn, and the others did not use SS camo so? Thanks for the reply!! :o)
@@couchcamperTM false, units like the 17th ss pz div GVB,12th ss pz div Hj,9th ss pz div,1st & 2nd ss pz div got tons of dot-44 patterns, just by looking the ammount of pea dot 44 camouflages in wear by the soldiers of those units, altougth i agree that even patterns like smock palm-tree were still in service in 1944 ( a proof of this is grenadiers from both 12th panzer div Hj & 17th ss panzer div GVB wearing those during the battle of Normandy).
Brent I love it , I’ll call it a small movie you and your comrades made wow you made my day kid it’s as good as any thing I’ve seen on TH-cam. way to go my man I’m a history buff and I also draw and publishes ,history based graphic novels and I can say I know the amount of work you put in to this production was no small feet keep it up brother ! ronin from Boston MA ..... Thank you
By 44 most seasoned units (most on the eastern front where, especially if they got their hands on "Schlupfhemden"/camo & frontline units) disgarded of the k98 in favour to a something semi or full auto. Also to my understanding german machinegunners never carried k98 pouches. For your reenacting you might be interested in the different "Infanteriemesser" (infantry knife / combat knife). In addition to that there is a certain way a group was set up in lineformation. For a few pointers you might be interested in this (although this only shows how it "should be", experience says even todays german military doesn`t go directly by the book and not everything is written down): b-ok . cc Company officer's handbook of the German Army United States. War Dept. Military Intelligence Division I don`t link directly for legal reasons
I can't my friends to go to the range let alone convince them to attend One Sheppard with me. Yet here comes Brent with an entire damn platoon for reenactments. I need new friends.....
Magnificent work, bravo! Cool showing the leftie work the bolt, the use of a female sniper in the Red Army, and all the little things. Y'all should be consultants in Hollywood lol, they could use the help!
If it storms or it snows, or the sun smiles on us, The day burning hot or ice cold of the night, Dusty are our faces, But joyful are our minds, Yes our minds. We roll our tanks forward in to the storms wind. Thank you Brent 0331.
Nice job man! Way better than what 99% of Hollywood puts out. I can’t believe your wife is getting in on it too. Mine would never do that but she puts up with my ever growing collection of STUFF. 😂

Very good Brent ! Stay safe man ! It is going to be bad in US ( like it is in Italy now).
Audio is done perfectly including “handgranate” in perfect moment 👍
Thanks brother, yes it was her. She did the sniper cameo only.
Brent0331 natural born talent 👍 Kudos for her as well !
3:17 his rifle stuck in the ground lol!
@winstonS watch about 5 more seconds
It was the Bayonet on the rifle sticking in the ground.
This is fantastic re-enactor video! I loved the women running the Mosin nagant 91/30. The German K98 rifles were awesome too. Keep it coming
Thanks
Brent that's awesome. It took a lot more time to film the scenes, edit it, and make it all come together for "just" 5:30 minutes of final video. well done.
Couldn't be more right man, people have no idea! We spent about 8 hours out there filming this and it took me about 3 days of editing to get this 5 minutes.
Best part about Brent's productions is he doesn't waste time getting to know the actors. Everyone is going to die anyway. Mrs. Brent enjoyed that scene a little too much...
That was AWESOME!!! You guys did an OUTSTANDING job!🤜🤛🇺🇸🇺🇸
What a fun video. Must've been a lot of fun to film!
Thanks for sharing brother.
Always welcome, i can only have a great respect for the effort you guys are putting into making these videos.
There is a short film series made by some European lads called "Kurland" from the German perspective.
Kinda humanizing when you realize everyone had their role to play, and those boys thought it was for king and country. Not as evil as the books would tell us.
This video was a lot better than most documentaries, thank you.
Thanks
With the exception of 1917, this was better than anything that has come out of Hollywood in years! Keep up the great work guys!!
Thanks brother.
Panzerfoust was frickin cool.Thankyou Brent that was alot of work making a movie.
That’s so fricking cool great video
Thanks
Brent I really enjoyed this one awesome work!! 👏👏👏👏
Appreciate it brother.
Great video, guys! This was fun to watch. I liked seeing the various patterns being implemented well, and the sniper gal had this smirk like, "Dah, I have overwatch." lmao
I can really see and appreciate the work and attention to detail that went into this. Great work!!
Thanks brother.
Wow, thank you Brent, your videos have always been good but keep getting better and better. We appreciate the time and effort you guys put into these. Really awesome👌
Thanks brother.
Man that was great! These videos are getting better and better
Hi brent, thanks for all videos you are the best camo channel on you tube.
Greetings from Italy.
THAT WAS GREAT! what a huge amount of work must have went into that. especially loved the attention to detail in ammo bearers bring more cans up. 1st tier movies dont show those kind of little details. love the hot commie sniper too.
Thanks brother, that hot commie sniper is my old lady. ha
WATCH OUT SNIPER!!!
@@Brent0331 where there blanks used in this
my father (from germany) found a "kartentasche" my grandfather (german side) just like the one at 2:44
my grandfather (german side) was a "Kradfahrer Melder" ( something like a recon on a motorbike) and defended the "Brücke von Remagen" (bridge of remagen).
Wow! Great vid Brent! Keep up the good work brother!
Very good work, I love the original sound of the weapons, and that MG42 looks spectacular. Thanks Mrs. Brent0331, I am going to share the video :-)
Thanks brother.
First class! Epic battle scene, keep em coming!
Thanks man.
Bravo ; Great Kit / Great Video . Thank you Brent 0331 for your service.
Awesome video, thanks for putting it together!
Nice special effects!! Did Re-enacting for 40+ years, to old now. I sure do miss it. Course, I had to play the bad guy. Bought my first MP-40 for $1000. Mg-42 was $5000.
Inspiring vid as always.Everyone who worked on this deserves a medal
Absolutely brilliant. You pot pretty much every public reenactment battle to shame.
Wow!!!
What kind of epicness was that???
Keep it up, Brent0331.
Totally awesome. I loved the way you did the special effects. Great job.
Reminds me of the Bosnian war. I was there! 1st Battalion (Recon Team-Blackwolves) 17th Mountain Brigade Krajina 7th Corps Armija Bosna i Hercegovina.
Thanks for watching and commenting
Great cinematography-props !!!
🖤 this gut sheize !!! ✔️💥🔥💪💯
Brings me right back to my days of playing in the woods with friends! We never had nearly as cool of props, but having a good imagination certainly helped back then. Thanks for making and sharing this, Brent! Another awesome little short film...
We never grow up.
We never grow up.
Thank you, Peter Pan!
Awesome video!!! That MG flash was no joke.
Thanks man, I added a lot of that. My MG-42 (Yugo M53) is converted to semi-automatic so I had to add sound and flash to make it sound like a fully automatic MG-42.
@@Brent0331 all of it looked great, loved all the small details you guys put in each factions kit.
Great stuff! The films are getting more and more complex, very well done!
Just the BEST uniforms that have ever existed !! 👏💯💪❤️🔥🇩🇪✊
My grandfather was fighting in ostfront thats was crazy times for both sites
Now thats what I call a dream-load of USSR surplus. Nothing better than a good old Telogreika jacket & Fufaika pants when it gets cold!
These mini videos keep getting better and better!
Thanks man.
No way that just happened. That was flipping awesome. Good job, man.
WoW ... that was epic, you guys really pulled out all the stops there,
lady sniper was a hottie ... and love the amoeba camo, not something you see everyday.
Thanks brother, the sniper is actually my old lady. It was pulling teeth to get her to do it but she did!
Love how you guys keep history alive and really have a passion for teaching in creative and thoughtful ways
Thanks brother
Your animations went from kinda goofy and awesome, to actually really good and awesome, and borderline theatrical. Damn bro keep it up
Damn if you guys couldn't make some short films that would be bad ass.
Thanks brother.
Amazing. Well made guys....I love it.
Thanks
Nice touch on the lefty grab handling the mauser
This is great! Love what you done!
very authentic!
It's amazing how effective the German fall reversible camo is for this time of year. Even at pretty close range, the wearer blends in.
Agreed.
That was fucking awesome! Love the attention to detail on the props like that wood crate
appreciate it.
That was better than a lot of movies I've seen in the theater!
Thanks
Reminds me of Cross of Iron. Great work team
God you gotta love the desperation on the eastern front. It’s poetic and depressing
2:46 rip left handle
Many soldiers were left-handed shooters at the time

I really liked this video. Awesome, thanks!
The the call of duty German voices were a lovley touch my friend. Awesome voices
Thanks brother.
That was entertaining, well done once again brother.
Thanks
... Produced very well. Love from across the pond 😎👍🥰
Thanks man.
"You guys are incredible!"..
(Awesome work!)
Thanks brother.
@@couchcamperTM And the Wehrmacht troops were raiding SS stockpiles and warehouses for equipment too.
That was awesome !! And I bet alot of fun to do!
Thank you

This was actually a good short. Good job. Im sure it will get better
Outstanding masterpiece! Thumbs up!

For a few pointers you might be interested in this (although this only shows how it "should be", experience says even todays german military doesn`t go directly by the book and not everything is written down):

Definitely more of these awesome work!
Great video......
It’s like watching Commando...the same guy gets killed 10 different times 😂. Always fun, always awesome-pretty cool the wife participated also.
Ha
Extremely well put together art.
I can't my friends to go to the range let alone convince them to attend One Sheppard with me. Yet here comes Brent with an entire damn platoon for reenactments. I need new friends.....
Hey Brent, you just keep out doing your vids man, very very good !!! Thanx as always, just outstanding all around,..
Appreciate it brother.
These videos are so dang kewl,,, love it
Magnificent work, bravo! Cool showing the leftie work the bolt, the use of a female sniper in the Red Army, and all the little things. Y'all should be consultants in Hollywood lol, they could use the help!
Ha, thanks brother.
This is as good many ways better than Hollywood.. Keep them coming.. Great work!
Fuckin awesome man! Love when you do these vintage battle vids! Keep em coming brotha!

Gave me chills. The last sight many friendlies saw in the war
Have you ever done a test of the Unichrome Field Grey uniform and how it stacks up against OD and Khaki?
No, I personally do not have that uniform.
Looks like Seelow Heights in 45' tho...

Gteat video and reenactments. Nice to see the period weapons in use. They don't make them like they used though. Great job everyone!
Really awesome! Good work.
Thanks
Awesome video excellent work, I would love to see more like it
There will be more short videos in the future for sure.
Nice job man! Way better than what 99% of Hollywood puts out. I can’t believe your wife is getting in on it too. Mine would never do that but she puts up with my ever growing collection of STUFF. 😂
Ha, it was pulling teeth to get her to do that one cameo as the sniper. But she did it for me.
Brent0331 that’s all you can ask for though.
Better than anything on tv.
