I've traveled to the gates. Its really remote for the kind of property it is. Its located beyond the mountains North of Santa Barbara. There is a gorgeous little town called Los Olivos not far from the ranch that features art galleries, wine and cheese shops and ornamental shops. Quite nice to walk through. Other than that its really just farm land and not much else. It really isnt convenient to turn it into an attraction but at the same time. Its insane to see the kind of love and support people have shown on his gates and will continue to for years. When i visited, two separate groups from other countries arrived shortly after us, as well as some yuppie middle age guys from LA just taking a drive cause they were bored. Not a single brick is bare, as they all have messages of love engraved or marked. flowers and notes and pictures hang everywhere while an eerie silence surrounds you. Its quite an experience to be there. If you ever visit Santa Barbara, make sure to drive out there. Its worth it if you're a fan.

@My 2 Cents MJ loved that home but hated the drive. When he left the property I don't believe he had the same affection for it because he felt it was tainted. I don't believe he would want it to be a memorial for him. He did say he would visit but never live there again. He turned his back on it so should we.

Neverland is actually a beautiful and isolated property. It’s sad to see of what it has become. In it’s hey day, it was a vibrant and bustling environment. It would have been nice if it could have been turned into a museum like GRACELAND. I guess that it just wasn’t’ meant to be. If Neverland could talk, we can only imagine the stories it would tell. It will always be a good reminder of where, one of the world’s best entertainers, once lived. Peace.

Michael told once that "Neverland is a house now, not a home, he will come and visit but he will never live there".
