You got some good drawing skills and some good hands to router that stuff in the foam. Wish TB nation was in Florida. Keep up the videos.

whenever you are template routing, always use the round side of the base plate against the fence. That way if you have any rotation or anything it wont move the bit away from the fence and leaves a cleaner cut

if you would stuck the tbnation template or a good piece of cadboard and cut the letters keeping the outline , you couldve used it more than once by laying it on the part and praypaint over it
you have the painted letters to trace out

I'm really enjoying watching your builds. . ..
The only issue I have... I have a 16' G3 1544 "John boat".... As it sits it's not really all that fishable. I mean it works OK for 2 guys and that's it you can really take 2 adults & my daughter out with me. I would love to do something with it but at the same time I'm just not sure I like the lack of stability. I'm not sure much could be done. Being that it is very narrow & the flat bottom, It just bounces so badd in the water make me seasick. Not just me, but everyone who rides in it says the same thing....
Of course I do worry that it does not have nearly enough floatation. I think if this thing were to go down it would go all the way to the bottom of the reservoir and may be float just slightly off the bottom. Right now I'm at the point where I'm not sure if it's worth keeping and trying to modify to make it a little bit better or try to find a different boat would be more stable in the water. Doesn't help that we've got a lot of guys that run around in wake boats and think it's great to come within 25 yd of where your fishing. Have to stop what you're doing immediately and used the trolling motor to get the bow of the boat turned in to their wake. If you don't do that there's a chance you're going to the bottom of the reservoir....
Anyway if I were to try to start modifying I would not know where to begin. I know there's a list of things that I don't really want. But knowing how I would place the things that I do want or even figuring out what I would actually want is the hard part for me
