This episode was a fabulous follow-up to your video from 3 1/2 years ago. I remember the first episode so vividly. It truly demonstrates your consistent catalog of outstanding videos. The drone footage at 7:21 is magnificent. My family and I enjoyed staying in the AETAS Lumphini Hotel recently at the tail end of our recent trip just to be within walking distance of the park. Another great video! I especially love the drone footage. Btw, the three rooftop bars on the 9th floor of Silom Edge mall offer fantastic views of Lumpini Park and these mega construction sites. I have been in Bangkok now three weeks, and I've been to 34 rooftop bars! I have one more month to go. Maybe I can get it to 50. 👊 ✊️
Jeroen l think you are on to something with the PiP. That is actually a very great idea to use more often. I would have liked to see it running constantly throughout the whole video.
Thanks Jeroen for the update. Bangkok is growing very fast and will become a large metropolis. Only one small concern is that according to those in the know, Bangkok could become the Venice of Asia if it continues to sink. 🤔
What's the story with that huge empty block on the corner of Sarasin and Lang Suan, does anybody know? That must be one of the current most expensive real estate blocks in Bangkok!
Lumpini looks lovely, as always, but to be honest, I really do not like soulless egg crate modern towers, which add to the city's heat problem, and mean using ever more a/c, in turn leading to more climate change. I fondly remember the night market that was once there, a haven of greenery, civility and of course pedestrian friendly. Modern Bangkok looks more and more like any other modern city, alas.
