Lots of people, non diver people, complain seiko took away the screw down crown and 200m wr. Seiko did take them away but added much better finishing , display caseback, hacking, handwinding, day and date and you still get 100m wr. In all honesty I dont want screwdown crowns on my watches I wear everyday/week, they play on my mind if they are going to fail. San Martin has better specs but good luck getting it serviced or fixed if there is a problem, and the engine thus half that San Martin is a Seiko. I prefer Seikos hardlex to all sapphire crystals Ive had, much clearer and appatently doesnt shatter. Seiko know what they are doing and how to design and build watches. Specs on paper dont always equal a better performing product.
Looks like a cool watch
