Hello from Texas! Thanks for your videos! I'd much rather watch "REAL" people than any actor. Your transparency is refreshing. Good luck and you'll get something more consistent soon! 😊
I retired at 59 and honestly, I wish I’d done it sooner. The 9-to-5 grind always steals your freedom for a paycheck that barely scratches the surface. My advice? If you’re in your late 30s or early 40s, start saving for FIRE now (Financial Independence, Retire Early.) And if you’re in your 50s, invest smartly and break free from relying on your job. Market trends, like the Trump Effect, have made millions for many, including me. Stay focused, stay consistent, and remember financial freedom is within reach if you make it a priority.
Working with Lorrie Greta Hillard , a financial advisor, was a game changer. She helped me refine my savings strategy, including retirement planning, and provided expert guidance on investments and budgeting to maximize my savings.
I may end up in similar situation soon 😢hopefully not - but you never know. Long story after I got back to work after my heart surgery. Things changed - I am hoping I can hang in there for at least 3 more years - I’m 62 years old . You just never know anymore . Cheers - your inspiration is encouraging 👍
I understand, things can change so quickly. It's great you are staying positive but I feel for you. I’m hoping by the time I’m 65 I’ll be in a much better financial position and can retire. ❤️😃🙏
Hey Martin, greetings from Ontario! Recently came across your channel a few days ago and immediately subscribed. Happy to see your page growing every time I click on a new video of yours, it is very well deserved! Keep up the incredible work - so amazing to hear you are now monetized here too. 😁Happy New Year!
Just wanted to give you a comment and encourage you to keep pushing forward….keep putting the videos out and I’ll keep watching to get you more views. Best of luck!
Love your channel Martin 😊 I really appreciate and respect your life journey and how humble and grateful you are ..your work ethic is inspiring and encourages me to work harder..thank you my friend 👍 love and blessings from the UK 🇬🇧
Glad your gigs picked up a little momentum later in the day! And thanks for delivering medication to those who can't get out and about...that's a really important service. Congrats on the 4K subscriptions! 🍺🍺🍺
Thanks so much. I feel I provide a needed service to people whether it’s delivering their supper or their medication 💊 as I’ve said before. Thank you for always supporting me ❤️😃🙏
I will always stay to the end Martin! I agree technology is a double-edged sword. We rely on it so much. But when I drive for Uber Eats - sometimes the GPS doesn't kick in right away and I have to just keep driving waiting for it to come to life. But all in all - its a good life. I am still nervous about making my first video - but you continue to inspire me and give me great ideas!
Thank you for your kind words and support! I'm glad you find the videos helpful! Also about the GPS that’s right. That is my biggest pet peeve. You have to be moving for it to clearly show where to go so sometimes I’m driving in circles in a parking lot until it kicks in. So frustrating 😆 Just start practicing or even just make some videos. If you look back at one video I did 3 or 4 months ago about why my videos suck and yours do too lol I mentioned talking on camera. You make the videos and we will watch ❤️😃🙏
Day to day vlogs are always nice especially when its authentic. $10 in 10 mins is good, even when i drove for lyft and uber $10 ride in my town is definitely worth it. Hope this week is good to you. 💜bulk orders can be a bit difficult so i like separating them around the car😂. 5:04 thank you for doing these pharmacy deliveries its truly helpful as i dont drive anymkre im always thankful when i can have it delivered some days it takes a few days for someone to accept other times i can get it delivered the same day. Careful on the icy roads.
Thank you so much. Yes I feel I provide a needed service to people whether it’s delivering their supper or their medication 💊 Thank you again for watching ❤️😃🙏
This can happen to anyone . Which really sucks . Happened to my husband I may be next . I admire your hustle. Yes ageism is REAL …. The quiet firing is REAL . Keep up the fight .
Great job! I am really enjoying your videos. There is a big need for school bus drivers in our area (upstate NY). You need a special license, but the pay isn't too bad and you can be off in the summer.
In America you can write off your miles for your federal taxes. I believe its around .60 cents per mile. It can really add up so much of your income can be tax free. You will need to keep track of your miles driven for business... and I'm not sure what Candian laws are when it comes to deducting mileage etc ... but worth checking out for your 2025 taxes.
I can appreciate everything you are working at to keep things together. Its a grind. I do see some risk driving with a handheld device, akin to to texting and driving and certainly chargeable and risky. Hopefully you can find a safer way to record.
Hello again my friend. Have you looked into Security Guard jobs ? or even perhaps being a School Bus Driver ? I know of older guys our age who lost their jobs before retirement or after retirement got these types of jobs and enjoy them. Security Guards and School Bus Drivers are in great demand in my area (USA). Also if you have a Senior Center in your area, you can ask them if they have any positions that employers may want an older worker to fill. It's worth a try until you can fully retire.
I was lucky to get to 65 before choosing to retire, why aren’t you an inspector on the other side of safety world? In Ontario lots of retirees drive cars from auctions to dealerships also check with resale estate companies or lawyer’s they often have drivers delivering papers/gifts etc good luck out there
Hi bud. So I respect the hustle but I’m wondering if using your own vehicle is actually a worthwhile trade off. I guess maybe you just have to say yes I’ll sacrifice my car for the cash. Just wondered if the math works. I’m a fan and not trying to poke you in any way negatively. Chris in Dartmouth Nova Scotia.
Thank you Chris for your thoughtful question. It’s not the best for my car but I do enjoy the flexibility and I don’t have much of a choice as I couldn’t find a “real” job lol
Good Man you are keeping yourself busy going into the New Year.
Keep rocking! You are a great role model😀
Thank you so much for your kind words 🙏😃
Hey, I admire your hustle! Never mind the negative comments, they are just unhappy, period.
Thank you for your support, I appreciate it 🙏 ❤️😃
We are all on here cheering you on! Keep up the great work! Happy New Year & God Bless 🙏
Thanks so much, I appreciate that! 🙏😃 Happy New Year to you too ❤️

Exactly My point! The 9 to 5 grind is just not worth it the stress and low payoff. What specific steps did you take to break free?
Working with Lorrie Greta Hillard , a financial advisor, was a game changer. She helped me refine my savings strategy, including retirement planning, and provided expert guidance on investments and budgeting to maximize my savings.
Got it! Thanks for the tip! I was curious, so I looked up Lorrie
I have 5 more years and I can’t wait to retire!
Yes! If you don’t like watching, don’t watch! Do you have any stories you can tell us about weird/odd/funny deliveries?
Really enjoy watching your videos. Almost relaxing. You seem like such a nice guy. Keep being awesome.
Thank you very much! I really appreciate you ❤️😃🙏
Martin, you are showing the resiliency of those falling on unfortunate times. Thank you for sharing your life and giving us all hope.
Thanks so much! I am happy to be able to provide encouragement to others. 😃🙏

Love your video's, but i find myself getting hungry when you mention the food orders.😊
Haha I get that! 😂
I truly believe when you start getting haters negative comments they’re undercover admirers 😅😅😅
Ha ha I hope so 😆 Thank you for your support and encouragement ❤️😃🙏
Car dealerships hire drivers to swap vehicles with other dealerships located in other regions, that might be an avenue to explore.
Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely look into that. 😃❤️🙏

Thank you so much for sharing that information! I will definitely look into it. My accountant should know ❤️😃🙏
Edmonton is easy to get around in, great road system there.
You’re absolutely right!

I agree. I’m trying to be as safe as possible. Thank you for your kind words and concern. 🙏
You’re a soldier🥊

Thanks for the info. Yes I’ve looked into security positions. Thanks for the ideas and advice 🙏😃
Good Hustle !
Thank you! 🙏😃
I enjoy what you do count me in!!
Isn’t there any Courier Company’s maybe google a business, there a lot in Southern California.
I am working as an independent contractor delivering for a courier company 🙏😃

I will keep looking and applying for better positions 😃🙏
Congrats on the 4K Subs, maybe you can get a second phone one for TH-cam and one for your job
Thanks so much. I appreciate the suggestion, I'll see what I can do. Great idea ❤️😃🙏
May I ask how much you were paid for the pharmacy deliver? And how far did you drive?
They are all different rates. This one was $6.91 each. Mileage varies.
😀
I could never be a delivery driver for Starbux.... Every order would miss a few sips hahahahaha
😃😆 Ya I agree. Especially the frapachino

Not sure what market you’re in but have you tried Medical Courier work?
What is a medical courier? The company I’m doing deliveries for does occasionally deliver human organs. Is that what you mean?
If you have a decent background check maybe look into medical deliveries.
That would be good. I do deliver medication etc to seniors. ❤️😃🙏
Admire your drive to make a $$$
I appreciate that ❤️😃🙏
