I don't say this often, but I actually think Kevin is a musical genius. The structures, melodies and vocals are sublime.
and lyrics
+Komachi Hikigaya lyric fuckin dead me

didn't he do the entire currents album on his own too, i mean that's fucking amazing.
i think the same thing! The fact that he can play so many instruments so proficiently is nothing short of remarkable.
Please don't die young...

Definitely the song of the year in my eyes.
+Good4josh In your ears ;)
That vocoder part towards the end always gets me.
Let it happen is my take off song in every flight 💖
OMG, same pinch! 🔥
One of the most creative guys in the rock music today. Kevin keeps making songs that hit the notes and reach more and more people.
Tame Impala’s music is what keeps me going everyday, without it, I would probably crumble.
this song is a masterpiece
Song of the decade for me
The man that makes me question my heterosexuality.
we all are kevisexuals :D
hahahhaah
John Thies is a Poo Pusher.
@@samuelhain2712 how are you sure?
Lol!! ... it's okay. He's irresistible.
all his last album and this song helped me trough a very bad ending with a bad relationship at the time, Let it happen taught me to never give up and let the thing flow, and "love paranoia" that some relations can destroy you, and you gotta change for good in "yes, I'm changing"
Don’t forget “New Person, Same Old Mistakes” (the conclusion to ‘Currents’). It‘s a song about, despite being grown and matured throughout life, one may still deep down express a part about their past self. And it’s about accepting that. ‘They say “people never change,” but that’s bullshit. They do.’
Luis Bjerre love/paranoia really gets to me, the flow of the song is just amazing and lyrics too
Dudes a fucking genius its pretty much a fact.
Congratulations Kevin, I'm a rocker turned into an electronic producer and you fucking single-handedly bridged the gap of what I've used to like (and still do) and what I can produce. You're one of the few people I dare to call a visionaire nowadays in music
He did the same for me. Kevin has guided so many of us multi-instrumentalist rock guys into uncharted territory with great conviction; even Mac DeMarco considers him an inspiration. There's no telling what he has unleashed.
Guilherme Neto I did not know the Mac Demarco tidbit. Is that from an interview?
The greatest artist that lives today. Don't fight me on this, just accept it.
I fucking love Tame Impala and I fucking love Let It Happen.
I’m gonna leave a will that’s just gonna say: “Play “Let It Happen” by Tame Impala when I die”
song of the decade.
This song Definitely pulls u out of depression and a sultry environment 😗😗😗
All his songs help me through some hard times and when I’m down
i love that man😭
Tame Impala is this generations Led Zeppelin.
Thebepob could be. More like this generations Jefferson Airplane.
Relax guys, he's just another Beck.
I love TI but thats so not true
I don't think so....in any case I would say "Rival Sons" is more like them.
thenewyorkpauls
Becks great and all, but he only had like 4 hit songs. Tame impalas albums are each pretty unique with a montage of amazing written, and produced songs. This guys only get bigger so you just wait
He's so good looking 😍and his voice just makes everything better. ❤️
Thank God for Kevin Parker. When I’m down TI lifts my mood! Amazingly talented young man. So kind, soft spoken, polite and genuine. Go read his story. He hasn’t had the best of everything in life, but he keeps hope alive. Is he different, fun and quirky? Yes, but isn’t that what makes life fun and interesting no matter your age?
kevins always seeking a genuine creative process. and thats why the audience gets to have a process too. thats what makes us enjoy the music, no matter what notes he chooses, or what fragment of a genre he borrows from.
Masterpiece
He's lovely ♥
I respect tame impala so much. They are musical and lyrical geniuses
Genius
All the album is an amazing piece of music, full of ambition and passion. The way Kevin took the risk to deal with sounds and musical structures he didn't used before, and you can still hear that all the songs came more or less naturally... A great challenge he achieved here.
Saludos desde Ecuador! Felicitciones a Kevin y a todos los integrantes de Tame Impala grandes!
Awesome pick!!! Was my song of the year as well!
This just changed my life
My song of the year for certain!
More like the song of our generation
I hate the music video because it makes me so depressed but I love the song.
Ti amo kevin
I totally love you bro ! You've entertained us all so much since you appeared in this world.
Kevin was inspired by The Field - Is This Power for Let It Happen
JustSpencer oh yea! :o
When that new album drops... holy shit
great song and well deserved :)
No doubt a genius...let's just Hope and Pray the Money Machine doesn't strip the Art away...😎🎶🎹
sweet
Kevin makes my ovaries tingle
Merecido premio.
this is the only known video footage taken so far inside the new tame impala studio
This song makes me feel like Ben 10.
But instead of aliens I turn into Ryan Gosling, Saul Goodman , Homelader, Nightcrawler, Tyler Durden, Walter White, Patrick Bateman, Thomas Shelby, Jesse Pinkman
do not forget about Kevin.
Ledge Enddd
I've heard this tune in another song. An older song i think.
Kevin has the voice and talent to experiment with R&B if he so desired...
they are the new Air. So where's experimentation?
he looks so different with a beard
I love this man, im gay with him haha
The reincarnation of Syd Barret?
fuck! Their getting popular :(
Why is that a bad/sad thing?

+bevrosity thanks, Mr. grammar:)
Haha I'm a 51 year old mum of a 19 year old tame impaler fan ... I think let it happen is the best song I've heard in 10 years and I'm getting to know the album's too .. have I ruined your day 😂😂
I'm on the fence with Kevin. there is no doubt "Let It Happen" was the best song of the year. its utterly brilliant. but the album "Currents" was disappointing. very derivative, 80's synth pop and a big step backwards from "Lonerism". there's also some ridiculous hero worship with this guy, like he's the only guy in the band. Jay Watson is equally talented and Nick Allbrook... the now ex-Tame bass player is actually a far better song writer and musician. the 6 albums of Pond are far better than the 3 Tame albums. but y'know.... Jesus on vocals. the girls love that.
Coldacre I felt like it expertly combined elements of the 80s and what Tame Impala was already doing, as a man of the night I can highly appreciate this album, they wanted this album to have more of a dance element and I can honestly say ive never wanted to dance harder to a song than The Less I Know The Better
Coldacre People talk about Kevin so much because he IS Tame Impala. The writing, record and production is all him - the rest don't contribute, so why would people talk about the rest of the band? (I agree though I love Nick, Pond, Gum, MMC etc.) Yeah Lonerism is better than Currents, but they're great in their own separate ways. The Pop of currents means I can't listen to it that often, whereas could have Lonerism on repeat until I drop dead haha
kevin parker is tame impala. any other "members" only appear for stage shows. jay watson helped write apocalypse dreams. but tame impala is literally a solo project
Coldacre everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but sometimes they are just wrong... Currents was and is not disappointing
Coldacre wooow such a hater. Currents was brilliantly inspired and is a fucking masterpiece. He combined R&B with psychedelic rock and synth pop. Derivative? Now you’re just reaching
