i saw him in vancouver, it was so amazing. he was fucking stoked, there were people in the trees who like didnt have tickets or something or whatever. but there were like 15 people in trees. everybody knew all the songs and words and were totttttally fucking jamming. literally the best concert ive ever seen in my whole life
+rickenbacker40011 i saw his show at perth (where hes from, am me) DEFINITELY the best concert i have ever been to... the bass, the lasers, the performance , the eqs the fuckin eveything. it was OMG I CANT DESCRIBE IT ITSSOFUCKINGGOODOMG
Haatchii It'll probably happen. I would hope that I could meet him separately on the side so I wouldn't have to throw it on stage because it could get messy and I would hate to get their pedals all sticky with watermelon juice and my love. It would be messy.
Haatchii I hope you can share this moment with us, it would be absolutely glorious and he would surely give us back stage passes. It would be a night to remember.
That's the XRT effect. These guys just respect music that's timeless. They don't ever interview these guys with a "Back in my day..." attitude. They're just music fans and they've seen it all over the years, but they never treat new artists like they've heard better like a lot of older people do.
I love his eyes, i love his smile, i love his hair, i love his body, I LOVE HIS MIND THAT MAKES THIS FUCKING BEAUTIFUL MUSIC, UGH DYING IT HURTSSSSSSSSSS
How adorable is he.. au naturelle even in personality. Got the coloured vinyl and don't have a turntable at the moment. I do know the magic of LPs though , as a child my much older brother would let me listen to all sorts of bands on his record player the magic is when you take the record out of it's sleeve, place it gently on the table... then very carefully placing that needle on the record ...hearing that 'boom' sound and some light crackling... magic.
he's so nice!!!! I would be so nervous to be interviewing him but he was so genuine and would say interesting things ahhh new favorite (i know I'm super late to the party)
This interview feels like an interview from "The Chris Farley Show" ... anyone? www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/the-chris-farley-show-mccartney/2868143
+André Carneiro No its all Kevin on the records, he is"the drummer" too :) I only recall Jay co-writing few bits with him on "Elephant and Apocalypse Dreams" on Lonerism. With this latest record (Currents), he also produced it all by himself. The previous ones been produced together with Dave Fridmann.
***** Yeah, he´s very good :) Especially with the whole "sound thing" But he started out in early age too. Recording stuff. So he certainly learned/picked up alot during those years. He certainly one of those who "have an ear" For me, I say he is excellent at translating feelings into sounds in the music he is creating. If that makes sense lol

Kevin seems like a really cool dude. I'd love to give him a watermelon.
He would love that. Get him one and wrap it up and bring it to a gig man, seriously.
Haatchii It'll probably happen. I would hope that I could meet him separately on the side so I wouldn't have to throw it on stage because it could get messy and I would hate to get their pedals all sticky with watermelon juice and my love.
It would be messy.
Bear Boy Ya it has to be on the side, it would be a special moment for both of you. Watermelons are fabulous.
Haatchii I hope you can share this moment with us, it would be absolutely glorious and he would surely give us back stage passes. It would be a night to remember.
lol. good one.
The interviewer sounds way younger than he looks

3:41 "What the people want" that sexy masculine voice
I find myself watching Kevin Parker interviews over and over
Same here
Mgmt interviews are about 5 times better.
0:16 "hey how you goin?"
*awkward smile*
Aayush Wykes apparently saying how you going is a normal thing to say in Australia lol. Sounds weird to me
cutest man ever.
How adorable is he.. au naturelle even in personality.

yes adorable.....sweet eyes and beautiful smile (when he smile...)
what a voice Tame impala has and a really unique sound, amazing songs with amazing vibes gotta love it
AMEN!
he's so nice!!!! I would be so nervous to be interviewing him but he was so genuine and would say interesting things ahhh new favorite (i know I'm super late to the party)
never too late to a party!
Not as late as me but I'm loving the ride man, my new obsession
foxmouth I can't fathom being nervous to meet a musician I like lol. They're just regular people. No need to be nervous.
This young Aussie is a talent guy. Great in concert!
He is actually what I envisioned him to look like.
My best friend recently got me hooked to his music!!
that's a real friend
He sounds really different when he talks from when he sings
Take a shot every time Kevin makes eye contact with the interviewer... you won’t be drunk
Autism
Potting Soil LOL stfu, just cause someone doesn't like making eye contact doesn't mean they're autistic.
the interviewer looks like a 70 year old 20 year old.
sounds*
He's come a long way! Great inspiration
I would've guessed that Kevin is in a metal band if I didn't know about Tame Impala lol
kevin is looking good man mmmm
Kevin is a genius.
He truly is the sweetest person I ever talked to oh my god
"You use headphones in the studio?" I think Kevin wanted to say yeah no shit
Great album again Kevin! Hope all's well with the band.
Oh lord, Holy Jesus on LSD.
Sounds like a song title.
I´m gonna use that xd
hes so amazing!
man i want to see him live :(
Haha he wasn't lying about the Tame Impala vinyl. I barely sit down before I have to flip sides.
Worth it though, of course...
+MmmHmm My daily struggle with half my records man lol
I guess it "keeps you on your feet"...
...I'll let myself out.
Great band...even better scarf
kevin you're hot af
Chicago lolla reppp, got my four day this year - see you then kevin !
HOLY KEVIN RICHARD PARKER
beautiful godly man 💖
i feel very sexually confused in this video wtf
Saying Kevin Parker is attractive in a slightly androgynous way I think
"Hey, how are you going"
He has a normal voice. Shouldn't he sound like John Lennon? XD
TheGooseinator bro i literally looked up his interviews to see if he did 😂😂
@@nicolasrios4803 Damn─ me too, and let me tell you, I'm very disappointed ftw
i have noticed people sound really different from when they sing compared to when they speak
I really don’t hear how his voice sounds like lennon’s
What if Kevin made a song with his deep voice like at 3:41 similar to Past Life but not messing with the pitch its in.
WHAT THE PPL WANT
He doesn’t seem anything like I expected based on their songs
He's funny in this interview. Normally he acts kind of shy and serious.
I like that part of him, he is very laid back and humble. I would say more a "thinker than a talker" :)Music is prob his way of speech ;)
washedinsilver1 Agreed. He's a brilliant guy.
Gah he's a genius I want to beeee hiiiiiiimmmmmmmmmm
hey how are you going
Was currents out at this time ?
wonder what kev thinks of Modest Mouse
What are the headphones used for?
hey this is gr8
😍
Let me see if my ribs are still here...
Zach Warner Makes me nervous to ask why hahaha
@@MrRamone97 thats funny as well...but I was referring to him being probably a bit stoned.
Did the interviewer really just say that Tame Impala's last record sounds like Aphex Twin...?

Every hippy in Australia looks like Kevin, so if you think he’s hot, take a trip down under because they are everywhere!
ashley forbes girlllll thank you for this information lmao
Cece Cummings start with Byron Bay.
Why is Kevin talking to a mummy in a batman shirt?
A mummy with muscles!! (I've never see before a mummy with those shoulders)
Zéro you mean a bald skinny dude? Lmao
I kind of expected Kevin to be a bit of a douche, but he seems very cool and genuine
He has the same name as my dad so we can never date unfortunately
Well if he asked maybe
Lol Guess I’ll just have to take him then xD
He's married
@@hanicastle9311 what to who
Hani Castle i know, it was a joke lol
Looks like Cesc Fabregas with long hair
im pretty sure he's sober or had just a little to drink
does the whole band plays on the record or is it just kevin and the drummer?
+André Carneiro No its all Kevin on the records, he is"the drummer" too :) I only recall Jay co-writing few bits with him on "Elephant and Apocalypse Dreams" on Lonerism. With this latest record (Currents), he also produced it all by himself. The previous ones been produced together with Dave Fridmann.
+washedinsilver1 I think it's amazing he does it all by himself. The albums don't sound like a solo record or anything.
So the band is mostly his live backing?
z3idd I guess so
Aphex twin and what rave?
What’s up with these movements
Jack U in the background hah
He sounds British not Australian
Not really haha
kevin doesn't seem sober in this interview... "lucy in the sky with diamonds"
I can definitely sense, he was hanging out with Lucy a little bit before this interview
i think he was just nervous
melvin berzamina he’s nervous and awkward like he usually is. Not high
Microdose
I wonder something inside his brain ?
LOL I think we all wonder, what´s going on inside that brain of his. Amazing maze of wonders :)
stop saying man
Saw him in Auckland best fuckin concert sounded so good
