Production by MILGRAM milgram.tv
almost forgot to watch this today
This is an every day mood 🌇
FUCK YES
lmao
Know that feel
Dont forget to watch it today !!!
Whoever mixed this deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. What a sound.
R Fairweather totally!
Kevin parker himself
Hard thing mixing backing tracks.
@@mikaelnadal6661 I think he means the one who mixed this session.
@@RJSOW Yes that's kevin who did it. He also film i think
Kevin Parker is a genius
Alejandra López
Duh 🙄
Alejandra López Yes
Asi????????
agree
Factual
After 6 years still the coolest band in the world.
fiighting w the strokes
listen Pond
King Gizz and Tame are joint for me
Tame impala is not a band but just Kevin Parker. The only reason there are other people with him during live performances is because he cant do all the instruments on the spot.
@@frostbitesponge9958 I think it's fair to say Tame Impala is actually both. For all recording purposes, Tame Impala is Kevin Parker, he is everything your hear when you listen to the music. Tame Impala does not exist without him. But as performers, Tame Impala is also a band with the same static members for years. I feel like you can't really count out the other 4 members like that.
I need another deezer session with the Slow Rush songs.
The tiny desk enters the chat
I want more songs from Innerspeaker and Lonersim album 💿
seeing Kevin control Julien's drum delay during let it happen with that guitar pedal just blew my mind.
Isn't it loop?
Yeah, I think he used that pedal to record a live sample of the drums + loop it. I don't think it was a prerecorded loop.
That’s such a skill, playing and controlling other musicians at the same time it’s mad
Actually EVERYTHING but the bass goes through that on stage mixer, which he can effect with his pedal.
@@joemca7917 🤯🤯🤯
For me there are two kinds of music: On the one hand there is music, you may like right away but after a few times listening to it you get tired easily. And then there is music like Tame Impala or Pond, whose songs you may not like the first time you hear it, but once you like it, you can’t get enough of it for the rest of your life. When that’s the case you know it’s pure quality.
You've hit the nail on the head there that's so true .
Very true
Yep. I haven't had an initial run of 3 albums grow on me or get played so much since Chronic Town-Murmur-Reckoning by REM some 35 years ago.
true
"The songs you'll grow to like never stick at first." Fall Out Boy - Dead On Arrival
Props to his friends who help him do this shit live, I'm sure its not easy do to all the layering and looping going on
Kevin does all the looping himself. But you're right. It definitely isn't easy
It’s amazing to know the band only exists for live performances like this
but the barefooted singer actually compiles all the instruments and puts together all the music himself on the albums
please TAME IMPALA, we NEED a new album!
Kevin is in the process of making a new album
@@andrarivaldigunawan5540 Yeah I heard about that, super excited! hopefully it's coming out soon. On his insta he even posted a video of them recording so fingers crossed.
Good news! You can check the new song "Patience" on the official channel
@@saharbouzidi2 Enjoy the new song Darling! 😉
WE WAIT ,but they talkin> PATIENCE (release this week/single)
Badass bass intro at 8:20 yet they choose to show the guitars. The life of a bassist...
i'm a bassist and a guitarist... people don't get it man, bass can be amazing, i mean just listen to Royal Blood, or even "The less I know the better" by Impala... The bass is the best! it's so sad
Maaannn the bassline is perfect I just don’t know how people can’t notice it
Camera men aren't musicians.
@@ionicgaming9106 I love me a good bass man, but it's just so ironic that the TLIKTB intro is a guitar. The FLWOGB bass riff is AMAZING tho.
this is probably playback, it sounds so identical
Currents is one of the best albums I've heard ever during my time on earth honestly
There's nothing really like it.
Lol. You’re missing out on plenty then.
It's so contemporary, yet retro. It's pop but it's also indie. It's just fucking genius. I'm an old fart but I rate Kevin Parker up there with the best.
Absolutely incredible version of "Let it Happen". So much thought going into mixing and producing live on stage. Beautiful.
Kevin's use of falsetto in outro 7:14 is incredible! "Baby, now I'm **falsetto** reaaadyyyy, moving on Oh, but maybe I was **falsetto** reaaadyyyyy all along Oh, I'm ready for the **falsetto** mooomeeent and the sound Oh, but maybe I was **falsetto** reaaaadyyyyy all along". This is much more apparent when he performs live unlike the album version and he puts all his soul in the outro. What a bliss to the ears!
To see the the drummer smile at the climax of let it happen shows how much they all love it
Currents, is 'currently' 738th place in the best albums ever chart, which is pretty good going for an album released in 2015.
Current-ly.
Sorry.
Come at me, see what happens.
Chuck Norris I prefer to admire your achievements rather than participate in one of them.
especially since its their third best album.
Ha, is true... La rueda o el barco nº938 ... 2017
This type of bands make me genuinely happy. They are actually making new and creative projects. Its just too sexy
im not ashamed to admit that i still listen to this song at least twice a day
I can't get over Kevin trying to hold the microphone and play the guitar at the same time, then realising and laughing about it
Timestamp please : )
@@ruta2172 on 11:35 hahah
Im 7 months later but "better late than ever", right?😉
haha love how he looks at jay when he does something silly
My gym coach always plays this in P.E
Ur gym coach is dope
I am a PE teacher... and I love Tame Impala !! And PUSH UPS!! Now give me 20!!
May I go to your school?
Hahaha
Give that man a raise
I have a 23 year old son, one of the best things he recommended to me: listen to Tame Impala!
amaze!
I've been watching this at least twice a day for the past couple of months.
David Soto I think I will be doing the same now!
The fact that they sound this tight live is fucking incredible and highly indicative of impeccable musicianship.
I can only be grateful with life for being alive at the same time as Kevin Parker. Thank you universe

I think I've watched this a hundred times. It always brightens my day.
I didn't know about the Tames and now I can't stop listen to them
"the Tames" I like that. Or "Kevin Parker and the Tame Impalas"
Sounds like a 70's progressive band
My friends addicted to alcohol, and I'm here addicted to Tame Impala, my mother should proud of me
u need drugs and alcohol to enjoy it better ;)
Héctor Palacios no you don't
yes he does
Well, Can't wait for your friends to die.
Rahadian Lintang try being addicted to both, and thats nothing
Why this song is never getting old? It's just too perfect, is a masterpiece.
9:33 the bassist is fighting against his own hair
cam avery
There are some badass moment for the bassist yet they showed the one of him getting annoyed by his own hair lol
hilarious
Amigo queremos que además de tocar puedan conocer el valle donde realmente es Pisco
Jonny Greenwood killin the bass today
packtbutchd haha agree he looks like jonny 😂😂
@@izzadzahari8068 just in the hair, Jonny is more skinny
It’s his hair haha
Jonny has no facial hair, and he’s skinnier.
the cinematography is gorgeous!
It fits perfectly with the band and even some album covers
This place is called "La Géode" it is set in Paris
Kevin did the cinematography, and built La Geode. He’s a genius.
Kevin does such a great job at bringing such sour and depressing music to life. I think he drowns his vocals in so much layers that a lot of people can't decipher what he's trying to get across. I think that just speaks to his genius
+Louis Addeo-Weiss Lol then you'd love Future
+IdoIndeedFlip HAAAAA.COME ON BA LE HA RI SE
+Henrique Lopes oh my god this.
the “tell my mother I’m sorry” drop will always b my favourite ✈️
He says lover instead of mother.but in my opinion yours is better.
The vocoder and The voice of Kevin Parker is unbeatable. This work is the decisive reference of a GRAMMY
Let it Japon, let it Japoooon
its cool to see some big musician rocking a squier, they are (especially now) good quality instruments for the price
and they use epiphone as well!
That Epiphone is a Crestwood and they are worth thousands of dollars.
Shady Individual They may be playing that squier... but they also do usually rock double rickenbackers + sometimes a roadhouse strat. Talking about price, they would also be no small cost involved in all those bloody pedals.
ha I totally forgot about the pedals, thats defintely a bigger staple of their sound than the guitars.
@@samferfolja6315 Reply to old post but yeah, in addition there are great chances the squier JM singer uses is a J Mascis model. It's still not that expensive but still the top line of squier JMs... Here in Japan its price is pretty close to some MIJ fender JMs so it's not that cheap either I guess. Maybe the price gap is wider in the West though.
Y’ALL, TAME IMPALA IS HEADLINING COACHELLA 2019!!! 🤩❣️
Please come to Toronto!
Yes, with J Balvin
I saw them live last year and this, even without the visuals, also gave me chills. They're amazing !!!
Hey you might like a band called The Doublejumps if you like Tame Impala. Two of my favourite artists
They look so professional in their work

The more I know the band, the better ! Born in 90's these people gives me a taste of the 70's psychedelic rock. God bless them. Hail Tame Impala.
2023 y aquí seguimos escuchando esta joya.
The way this was filmed and produced reminds me a whole lot of Echoes from Live at Pompei. Broad daylight live barefoot in a disorienting location. Nice.
Chris W that’s a classic
That's what i searched for, then this was the like the 4th song after it, after a few other Floyd tunes...
That was very offensive to pink floyd
believe it or not I’ve been listening to this almost everyday 😭🤝
One of the greatest live performances still to this day. What quality the audio engineers really took their time with this mix as well.
I'm convinced he says 'eat the next chicken, take the next train' at least twice in let it happen
Hahahah some really stoner lyrics.
It's ' Take the next ticket to take the next train'
Sooooo I've watched this about 20 times today...
✌🏻️
5.6 hours worth of ear magic
And more. It's just addictive
It was said that I'm obsessed.
#Me everyday
Kevin is a masterful composer and arranger.
The loop created live at 04:00 so perfectly synchronized... It's amazing watching them to perform live this rich and complex song
Hey do you like The Doublejumps? it's like the older Tame impala stuff
@@funlittlefish I will never listen to them because you are so annoying
This cured my depression.
Why won't you make up your mind was the song I first heard from them and been hooked since.
Tame knows how to make some exotic and catchy sounds to say the least...
the whole preformance and outro.... good heavens... amazing
what some of you may not ever get to know .....is that when you get to see them live - the studio sounds from the album really translate live. the live set is a piece of work in itself, right thru the p.a. Excellent live production.
Watching this has become a part of my daily routine
The last 3 minutes of Let It Happen is the best sounding sound in the history of sounds
here at the end of 2019, posthumous forgiveness just dropped. Patiently waiting for The Slow Rush.
William Quezada Patience
2020. Slow rush is fucking awesome. Kevin Parker did it again.
thank you kp, you did it again 😤
I just recently got into Tame Impala after I saw an ad for their show in Portland here. My wife really loves them so we went and watched it and I was blown away at how psychedelic it was. I had just assumed they were like these ivy League frat boy kind of semi hipsters. I had just heard the hits and didn't know they had all the obscure weird stuff too. I went back to my TH-cam history and found that I watched that going backwards video in 2014, and then watched another video a year ago in 2020. And that's like as deep as I ever went. And now I'm listening to all of their albums 24/7 and watching years of performances.
They were so ahead of their time. I used to listen to Tame Impala at 2016 and I just realized how addicted I am to that band now, in 2018. They're awesome.
6:27 is one of this decades most iconic riffs to me
i agree, it's phenomenal.
🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾 2024 anyone?
Still can’t get enough of these fellas
How have I never seen this?!
Kevin is literally the conductor, shit is almost symphonic in the most rock n roll way ever. Brilliant
I'm 86 and I've never heard music before! his the best music I've ever heard! laugh out loud! THIS THE GOOD SHIT.
I COME BACK EVERYDAY AND IT IS STILL THE GOOD SHIT.
i've such mad respect for kevin parker, what a man..
No se necesita acido para viajar con Tame Impala !! Que increibles musicos... cada tema un viaje astral !! Gracias por tanto !
(05:41 - 08:00) Could be 17hrs.
Yeah
probably the best 2 mins of any song
I agree
So amazing the way they convert these intricate productions into a perfect live performance
I just want to give him a hug and tell him how wonderful he is.
THIS BAND. i don't even have words. god bless you kevin parker.
This is so good on so many levels.
(I wish Dom's guitar was louder in TLIKTB.)
Descubrí esta sesión hace par de días y ya me la he visto como 10 veces. AMO.
Asked God to prove his existence and he made Tame Impala.
*Everybody liked that*
@Mike Cranston Chutiya hai kya
Exactly men, I was giving up believing in God until I met Tame Impala
Sus lan kitapsız
and thats why its good to live on this planet
this is music which eclipses itself. according to me such a radical change only happens once in a generation . it is greater experience than doing drugs , alcohol and life itself.
I got to see them live in Texas and they were the best band i've ever seen live! fucking awesome
This is so freaking sweet. They sound amazing live and the mix and effects are so cool to all be doing live like this. I can't wait to hear these guys live in person
It's been 4 years and I still can't get over the production. Like, what did they ever do with the giant silver ball in the back? 🤔
That’s Chicago
The bass for “the less I know the better” is pure magic shoutout to the bassist such a beast
This is a very tight band. This Deezer session was done live and sounds very, very close to the studio versions.
Tmw you're high and hearing new sounds you've never heard before, even though you've watched a million times
Let it happen flawlessly, what an awesome live performance!
A completely psychedelic album that begins with this gem of a song, totally recommended when you are very high.
I Agree Man I Randomly Put It On My Vibing Playlist Then When I Listened To It High It’s Whole Different Experience
He's dance is so cute af ♡
yo, its back!
It wasn't available all these days. I was searching for it too😅
thank god
Hey you might like a band called The Doublejumps if you like Tame Impala. Two of my favourite artists
I am obsessed with this performance
Their bass player kicks so much ass!
Cam🤙🏻🔥
Dear Uploader,
The last song "WWYMUYM" is from the first album of Tame Impala, "Innerspeaker", not from the last, "Currents".
Thanks for this. Is a bliss.
solitude is bliss
Timeless
I remember my first time listening to impala I was on acid and had played all my playlist, then I seen the currents album cover art and thought it was cool. Next thing I know I was in heaven : ) , it took me to a such a pretty and peaceful place I’m so thankful for that experience ❤️
kevin sameeee 😂
Same but I was on shrooms lmao
Same bro
even the drums sound trippy af .
Right!
Like how do they do it🤯
This is so good. Seriously. Let it happen was so flawless. It was orchestrated and executed perfectly.
let it happen is fucking perfect
listen to this high =Extreme ear-gasm. Thanks for the art-
I remember when I first got into tame around when they dropped lonerism, this band has continuously set the benchmark for music in an era where creativity is seldom found.
I'm definitely in love with Parker!!
weed + tame impala = sooo high
Just Tame Impala...
+Ana Thorpe the weed helps... Alot
+Lance Howard agree:)
... what he is right? Weed definitely enhances the experience.
Lance Howard I don't need weed, just Tame Impala
When the band quiets down and Kevin breaks out the fuzzy guitar riff on Why Won't You Make Up Your Mind... Oof that was good
The sound is amazing…
The bass is perfect
Huh! I´ve been listening this music for three months straight!
Best band ever! I know all their songs by heart♥️♥️😭
