Hi Mike, I just got my 16x and I love it. Did all the updates and got about 12 miles on it. Did all the updates. I heard you talk about a floaty feeling in the pedals at some point. Just wondering if you still have that. It doesn’t bother me that much, but Incan definitely feel it. Not sure if it’s the tire pressure. Haven’t messed with that yet. I currently own a Mten3, MCM5 and 100v Nikola. I love the 16x and definitely glad I added it.
knifesketch101 it’s. Or so much a floater feel as the peddle tilting back or forward a few degrees randomly. I still have it after applying both the 1.5 and the Bluetooth update. And some of the others on the forums do as well.
Hello. Can you tell us what flashlight you use and how you attach it to your wrist? I have several small very high lumen lights that I was thinking about attaching with some kind of velcro straps.
Sure on amazon it was called: Top Brightness: 930 Lumen Bike Light with Cree XM-L2 LED, Li-ion Battery and Charging Kit Included And I use a reflective Velcro Bike strap to hold it on to my wrist guard. There is a video covering this somewhere on the channel, and I'm thinking of doing an update as well.
Thanks for the video. Can we get an update on how Katt is doing? I learned a lot from the video where you were teaching her. Also, that motorcycle jacket that Max is wearing with the pads, what brand/model was that.
@@michaelpaolini thanks for the quick reply. I got a KS14D at the end of June, and taught myself to ride with the help of videos like yours. The weather here(Boston area) will be too cold for me to ride soon, so I'm putting off my next wheel purchase until next spring. I hope by then the KS16X will be in stock and be done with all the final updates. And I'm going to need to upgrade my protective gear. Thanks again for all the helpfull videos.
@@COBARHORSE1 I'm going to do a video in the next week or so on safety gear, I'm past due. And so glad I was able to help. P.S. The KS16x is fun even as it is.
I had the self balancing cut out on me because I tried to accelerate too fast. I basically leaned too far forward or something. By some miracle, I managed to stay on the wheel until it regained self balancing. I wasn't wearing any gear. I do now every time I ride.
Jeremy Dumoit keep in mind he set the alarm to the limit (max speeds), pusher passes the auditory alarms and the tilt back then likely caught a bump and planted. It was a feet of stupid on a wheel still being debugged - and he did it with no armor.
Adam Hilliker it actually did it with no armor on and only scraped his hand - he was able to mostly run/ roll it out. On a OneWheel it would have been broken bones not just a scrape. Also he, as a new rider, was being dumb.
@@jeremydumoit4487 Yea, I'm scared of ou Trampa board then. Anything about 25 mph makes me nervous - I start to get airborne from road conditions and I dislike that cause it can dislodge and change my foot position.
King song says the max is actually King Song say actually 35, but they limit you to 31 for safety reasons. As your battery drops that speed drops as well though. The app shows higher speeds but when you tell it to set them up drops you to 31
nice michael.
Thank. Really enjoying this wheel now that I can stop worrying so much.
Michael Love the cinematics very trippy like & the music top notch! Well put together Mike! 😜👍
Thanks man!

@@michaelpaolini I will look for it. I say the one with all of your wrist buttons. Cyber bot!
Awesome video 👌and great sound with the video
Thank you!

Max's is a Fox dirt bike jacket called the Titan I believe. Katt is doing well, but I think her and Glasco are on a break.

You have to gear up - there's just too much that can wrong, and only half of it is the machine itself. :)
So basically it nosedives like a onewheel at 31mph? Ouch
Jeremy Dumoit except 0% chance of riding it out. Eep

@@michaelpaolini 31 mph on a onewheel would be insane. My Trampa board actually goes faster than that, though.

So is the max speed still 31mph? Or did the update unlock it to 37mph?
