You are talking like there aren't thousands of middle class people in Hollywood. U only see the big stars but the majority of Hollywood aren't celebrities. Hollywood support the entire economy of los Angeles. Even catering companies go out of business if Hollywood does.
First mistake is living in crazy CA. Buy a sensibly-sized home and some land away from the craziness. Put your money to work for you earning compound interest to take care of you when your movie career is finished. Live frugally and beneath your means. Having all that money and still being broke gets no sympathy from me.
My sister’s grandmother taught me at the age of 9 that a dollar a week was a good start. My school had a ‘bank day’ and we’d bring in a couple of dollars and they’d open an actual bank account and we’d start that way. Have mostly safe stocks now, and some high dividends each month so I can work part time while I go to school again at 42. Sickness can sneak up on you and ruin your plans, but the advice from long ago has saved me.
At 59, I will be semi retiring in June but I know I will have to get a part time job as well as I will curtail my spending. you can't live a six figure life style when you don't have it anymore.
When i was young I had good advice from my elders, put 10% of your pay into the bank, when looking for a job dont look at the income, look at the bennifits. Fast forward, im retired and just in retirement checks (i retired from 2 different jobs) im making shy of 9K a month. The money in the bank was converted to gold and is still untouched. Live within your means
They have high expenses. If you never adjust your expenses to what your current reality is in terms of incoming cash flow you're going to be at a or near a deficit fast.
They all learned how to operate financially not by living like us but by people looking to profit of their wealth. If theyd live a simple life away from these vultures their money would last much longer.
The truth is the people at the top messed the program up with their greed. If wages aren't keeping up with inflation how in tf are working class people going to be able to retire? Less than 10% of people are playing the markets. The host has s unique situation being that he lives in Spain.
Mr lboyd I actually fit in that category of too old to start I just turned 42 and might throw a horrible divorce where I was saving up to start my own business and plumbing finally got the house paid off are children were going to turn 18 and I was had enough experience 20 years of plumbing and licensing and to start my own company but she met somebody and they screamed and screamed and got everything so now I am sitting here with nothing and wondering how I'm going to get it all back and I don't want to spend another 15 years 20 years struggling to do it
People can live "where" their "labor" allows. Many people live in cities and states with higher costs of living than their skills will afford them. It leads to people complaining about being overworked. Just move...it's the long-term solution until your skills improve.
Umm think about it.. there’s a lot of Evidence about to come out as far as lists go. If evidence was put up for sale to the perpetrators.. it wouldn’t be cheap. Might cost somebody everything..they would have to start over again.. but at least they could have that fresh start over..
People with a lot of money tend to blow through it. Celebrities live off commission but are idiots and assume their greatness is everlasting and don't save or invest. Own houses so expensive that no one would buy them if they need to sell it for money. You can't afford to blow everything away if your job/s are a commission/contract type.
I invest in mainly ETFs. Generally lower returns but its more steady with gains or loses. I have a pretty diverse set of them from cannabis to tech to foreign companies etc. i also have some bonds.
Huh. When they started bashing their own fans for their politics, i just assumed they were all so rich that they could afford to lose many fans forever. Weird. / end sarcasm
I think lumping actors into a box where they don't know how to navigate the real world is bogus. Not all actors start acting at a young age. Some come to acting after many years of regular Joe life or because they sing or are a comedian.
No one could have seen the Boeing crash coming... You mean taking all the money out of production to buy back stock to artificially raise stock price, wasn't a good thing? Lol. The sad thing is that's everyone's new business model.
I would like to start investing, can anyone give any tips? Plus don't worry I'm not gonna put all my money in investing *don't put all your eggs in one basket*
Poor babies...
When one of their cars cost more than my entire house and 8yrs of income...
My heart just bleeds... 🤨
Defund Hollywood
Easy don't watch any films made in Hollywood.

Actors go into retirement between each job.
They gotta pay for those Diddy tapes. They all started talking about being broke and needing to work this year. Coincidence? I think not.
Bingo
Nah, they arent broke. They just spend way too much money on BS and want to maintain that lifestyle.
That means they’re broke adjacent.
This is another version of broke, a la being house poor.
California is really that expensive 😅😅😅
Nicolas cage never retired😂😂. He been making B list movies every year.
Enjoy your day, thoroughly. 😊😊
A lot of people die within a year of retiring, scary. This was helpful. Thanks.

😂😂😂
I thought the news said that inflation didn’t affect the rich.

Just because they didn’t manage their money doesn’t mean I won’t be happy with money.

Boycot every movie they have a role in.... let these woke actors live in this world they helped shape... let them live like the rest of us!!!
I'd love a piece of Jim Carry's art (painting)
They need the money to pay for the Diddy tapes that’s being sold in the Black Market.
I remember when the NYSE was below 3000.
Don't forget about a will. Tomorrow is never promised.
"money can't make you happy" well I'd like to try it, just to make sure
Basically, the government comes into your life takes more than they should and you have to return to the workforce to make a better life for yourself.
They all learned how to operate financially not by living like us but by people looking to profit of their wealth. If theyd live a simple life away from these vultures their money would last much longer.
They have a union now that’s crazy.
The only person I'd believe is or was broke is nick cage.

Your identity is better protected with no credit history or bad credit 🤣👽😎
I retired early forties a couple years ago 😂

Never learnt to tighten their belt.
If you're talented, pay close attention to the contracts you sign.
it's all lies, jim carey has $180 million

I know this is old fashioned but how about save enough money until you can buy something outright.
Probably paying off people to stay out of trouble is hurting them I mean think about it😊😊😊
If i got the money jom carrey got for one of his movies. I would die rich.
Yieldmax ETFs. Consult your financial advisor.

Retire? What’s this word you speak of? 🤷🏻♂️
XRP that's my tip today.
I would like to start investing, can anyone give any tips? Plus don't worry I'm not gonna put all my money in investing *don't put all your eggs in one basket*
Boo-effing-hoo! 🙄
I think the new american dream is to retire in another country. There's no realistic retirement aspirations in America anymore for non boomers.
40 year olds can retire by stacking Bitcoin ✌️
