Hey I'm a little late to the party here, but I started packing a Silky folding saw in my pack at all times. You'd be surprised what I can cut with that saw. It's more elbow grease, but a lot lighter than my chainsaw. Cheers from Montana.
I lived in McCall for 5 years the riding Mtn bike or Moto is AMAZING... did you ever stay straight at the bridge and head down Secesh up to bear lake then take the dirt road out to lick creek road and back to town?
@@madjack_757...I had a Fat Bike with a chain saw on the back and a Hedge trimmer on the front I used to go clear trail in the early season usually before the moto guys got around to it , usually on 20mi trail and Loon

Yeah I’ve thought about adding the same thing to my riding kit. It’s either that or a fancy saw mount 🤟🏼

Never tried that route! Summers coming up soon though so I’ll have to do that!!
@@madjack_757 i would imagine a lot of tree fall as was the case when i Bike Packed it..bring the saw!!
