Dave Filoni's Clone Wars ruins and breaks continuity in the movies. Ahsoka Tano is a bitch, he ruined Mandalorians, it breaks continuity that Anakin and Dooku and Obi-Wan and Grievous met several times in the show, Grievous is a pussy, he ruined the old EU.
The sequences in 4:03 and 5:35 are so fucking cool. I was never a fan of the 2008 series but looking at this show for the first time is really a treat.
8:39 This is only part that needs to be deleted. Allow me to explain. Everyone has been saying that Tartakovsky's Clone Wars series isn't cannon anymore since the release and finish of Filoni's Clone Wars series. This is untrue because if you watch Tartakovsky's series first, from vol. 1 to vol. 2, up until Anakin shows Padme his face scar and right after the light in their room turns off, role credits and stop watching. Now start watching Filoni's series, in chronological order, all the way up to season 7, episode 8. Then return to watching Tartakovsky's series where you left off. It falls in perfectly. They just have to edit and rearrange the cuts between Anakin's rescue mission and the battle on Coruscant so that it ends with Shaak Ti saying, "I failed", then Mace's shocked face, and then the zoom out of Coruscant. That 15 second part, where Mace alerts Anakin and Obi Wan that Coruscant is under attack, and when Anakin says, "Grievous" and starts to command his troops to ready for battle, is all that needs to be deleted. Then you can either start watching Revenge of the Sith or Filoni's series where you left off in season 7. 🤯🤯
Back when Star Wars was made by people who loved the series, lore, and the universe so much that they tried their best to make it better. Not like today where its all about politics being solved down our throats.
Star Wars was always political buddy. It was ALWAYS left-wing allegory. Lucas has said time and time again, the Rebels are meant to be the Viet Cong driving out the powerful Empire (USA). In the original backstory he wrote in the early 70s, Palpatine's rise to power was allegorical of Richard Nixon's abuses of power, and by the time he made the prequels, he again used modern allegory and directly alluded to the Bush Administration in Palpatine's abuses of power. Stop screaming into the void about politics ruining your kids story about space wizards. It was always a left-wing modern-day myth for children.
@Dave "The Animal" Bautista Despite personally generally liking the films, I can see Lucas himself made some pretty questionable choices with the Prequels. They are not very good films, so you have to really go back to 1983 in that regard. I don't know what this post 2008 stuff is all about. ALSO...Mark Hamill actually went onto say he regretted voicing critique of the way his character was written in TLJ, because A) he thought Rian made a great film, and B) he hates that toxic people put words in his mouth when they twist his quotes to crap on the film. Luke Skywalker had character development. The choices his character made were in keeping with the character in the original trilogy who was always walking a knifes edge, but pulling back to the light at the last moment. The only critique I remember of Lucas was the "selling his work to white slavers" which was a critique of the corporate film making machine. If you were being honest, you would quote that Lucas later said TLJ was "beautifully made" which is hardly surprising considering it's the one sequel film that stayed relatively close, at least in broad strokes, to the outline he sold to Disney for the sequels.
As much as I love Filoni clone wars, this will always be the best. To me it always fit better for the movies.

This series is a childhood memory for me as much as I like filoni’s series but this one will be a special series to watch
This clone wars is better at fitting in between episode 2 and 3
Yes. However I would say the 3D one lines up better with the original trilogy which in my opinion is more important

This is what got me into Star Wars
Thanks for uploading! Great feature on an underrated series!

@@hiattgrey9161 yes he did fanboy he ruined the old eu
Star Wars belongs to Warner Brothers and Cartoon Network not Disney
Obnoxious description "better than any of the prequels" my ass. RotS has a way better story
Prequel hating dipshits in 2015 were so fucking annoying
Yikes! That was a description from a younger bitter me. I updated it. Thank you for calling me out, and I agree ROTS holds up nicely.
Well…
I mean yeah but its also one story whereas the micro series is multiple stories
