I know in one of your videos you mentioned if there were any questions just leave it in the comments. I watch a few of these while attempting to fix a 50" vizio my MIL gave me due to screen issues. Now I have my old tv that my mother had that is being goofy. It shows the initial V during power up so the screen works but then has a black screen. Menu button and volume button don't work. I don't have the remote so it could just be the other buttons don't work. Just curious why it shows picture at initial start up but then nothing. It's an E321VL model, if that helps any.

I have an LG 50la6970-ue. The TV starts fine for the first ten seconds. Then, the picture starts constantly turning black then on at around 2 to 3 second intervals. The audio is fine though and keeps working even when the screen is black. I removed the backcover and the backlights seem to be working fine. Also, the 24V, 12V, and 3.5V pins on the power board are outputting normal voltage (the 12 pins keep fluctuating between 11.94 V and 12.21V or so, and I believe fluctuations happen when the image keeps turning on and off. 24V pin fluctuates between 12.58V and 12.88V, 3.5V pins are constant at 3.565V). I am not sure what the issue is! I checked common symptoms of a damaged t-con board and my case doesn't seem to be one of them. Not sure if I should try replacing t-con board or problem is elsewhere. Would appreciate any help.
Did your tv have a flashing standby light that indicated it was faulty strips? If so, what was the pattern? Ex. 2 light blinks or 1 blink
Tv turns on & off with sound but picture kept going darker , tried all thru menu, finally went all black pic. Still can do on & off & voice?

This failure seems to be a design error in overdriving the LED's. What prevents it from failing again when just installing new strips?
