In ETABS we can use insertion points in column and frame stiffness can be adjusted accordingly.....so when we export those point in safe we must keep column (as a stiff shell element) so that it matches the insertion condition with ETABs.....but when we observe those points (imported from ETABs (as f2k file)) loading will have x and y direction just corresponding to the size of column. So IDK if those points should be placed at perfect insertion point of column or just at center of column section...?? please help.
Reusing columns or shearwalls in SAFE for design is wrong because their effects have already been considered in ETABS and drawing stiff area under columns is same as the End Rigid Zone Offsets in Frames for reducing number of bending rebars yes we can use stiff material

If there is basement walls , they should also be modelled as stiff members??
