The root cause of the problem in West Papua is the issue of " Sovereignty". Indonesia is illegally occupying West Papua. So you CANNOT say " reaffirm Indonesia sovereignty over West Papua". This is false. Sovereignty belongs to the people of West Papua, not Indonesian.

It is very unwise for Solomon to bring this issue when they have urgent inner problem in their country. What is their true agenda behind all of this? Indonesia through VIce President, H.E Jusuf Kalla has stated that Indonesi respect the sovereignty of all countries and remain active to tackle down human rights issue through international dialogue and cooperation. Indonesia also has taken necessary steps to tackle down the suspect of racism and discrimination towards Papuans students in Surabaya and Malang through through law enforcement and reconciliative approach and we have to be aware that all of this can't be done in a blink of eye.

We all have to realize that this Papua issue is regarding the sovereignty of Indonesia. It is better for Solomon to keep focusing on their national affairs rather than intervened Indonesia. Until this second, Indonesia has taken firm steps to handle Papua issue. One of them is law application to suspected of racism and discrimination incident towards Papuan students in Surabaya and Malang. Besides, Indonesia government also keep on trying so the rights and freedom of speech of every Indonesian can be protected. It can be seen from the decision to lift the internet restrictions in Papua on last December 4th based on existing laws.

Cant we stop spreading hate? and focusing to prosper Papua? Forgetting the past, adn focusing about their future. Even Indonesia's sovereignty over Papua has been stated by Nick Meset (Foremer West Papua leader). He said that Papua is way better than before, we barely made such a big changes there. Then, we should keep doing a good things for Papua prosperity.

Mate! Stop worsening recent condition. The support of Indonesia's sovereignty over Papua was conveyed by Nauru's president, Lionel Aingimea, to former member of Free Papua Movement Nicholas Messet at the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, New York. We should stop talking nonsense things, and better focusing to make Papua better than ever.

Stop spreading provocative narratives like this. Indonesia has stated that Indonesia will always respect the sovereignty of other countries and Indonesia asks other countries to always respect the sovereignty and integrity of Indonesia internal problems. It has been stressed that racism and discrimination cannot be tolerated in Indonesia, which consists of diverse cultures and races. and as one of the largest democracies in the world, Indonesia continues to strive to ensure the rights of all Indonesian citizens are protected, including Papua carrying out law enforcement against racism and discrimination against Papuan students in Surabaya and Malang and taking a family approach. In addition, it should be noted that Indonesia has openly invited the High Commission on Human Rights and the United Nations to visit Papua, but there is still a miscoordination and fait accompli between Indonesia and the High Commission on Human Rights in Bangkok, so that the visit cannot yet be conducted. Therefore, we should not rashly spread provocative messages like this.

Enough with provocative messages like this. Indonesia has stated in UN General Assembly that Indonesia will always respect other countries sovereignty and will keep commit to promote and protect the human rights through international dialogue and cooperation. Indonesia has also guaranteed freedom of expression and expresses public opinion peacefully. In addition, efforts have been made to deal with cases of racism and discrimination against Papuan students in Surabaya through law enforcement for suspects and a reconciliatory approach for the people of Papua. These efforts are still being optimized so that the situation in Papua is back conducive.

Solomon Islands has no major problem of humans rights violence compare to Indonesia. West Papua is a Melanesian land; therefore, we have concern for our brothers and sisters. Indonesia is a thief in a foreign land; so, better pull out from the West Papua.
