Solomon Islands elects a new Prime Minister Jeremiah Manele | The Pacific

OUR Party nominated Jeremiah Manele to contest a parliamentary vote to elect a Prime Minister, and he won, beating former opposition leader Matthew Wale.
Mr Manele served as Foreign Minister in the previous government and is taking over from Manasseh Sogavare, who sensationally stood aside to make way for Prime Minister elect Manele.
