I have had the same issue with trading for 0 credits on xbox but I read that it only affects those using keyboard and mouse.. so what I've started doing is turning them off and switching to controller just to put the animals on the market. This has worked as I've been trading all through the event with 0 issues on the price
I'm sure they will! Right now it's just really hard to earn credits since there's barely any animals for sale and you don't get credits back from trading or rewards...just releasing to the wild which takes FOREVER
My tip on console is to make 2 habbitats with easy to bread animal or start a zoo where you don't use conservation credits on animals. Spectal caiman, capybara or babarusas. Easy to take care of and then you save conservation credits. Start a breeding zoo and then you got all animals you got. In my breeding zoo I have 5/6 albino capybaras and alot of cheetahs and artic fox. Just put in some lynx and pumas to get a lot of breeding and save conservation cash right now i have about 5000 in conservation credits. Good video. But before you build check the animal trading stuff because it's kind of bugging on console at the moment
My best starting animals "warthogs". They are pretty confident, easy to please and bread pretty easily. Also usually pretty cheap if you're someone like me who doesn't like to use cash to buy animals and prefer to use conservation. Of course the cheaper warthogs come with the not so great traits but, I always splurge on the male and make sure that one is as close to perfect as I can find for cheap. The females can alway be switched out with better ones as I go.
Yep, it's a great 'cheat' because they spend so long on the barriers, and why do the barriers need so much maintenance anyway? They already spend ages fixing the utilities all the time!
I’ve personally found that big cats are great to get conservation credits especially if you save for some cheap albino lions, had the game for a couple days (on pc) and I have about 2k credits already
Problem I've found with lions is that whilst they're great at generating credits, they cost so much to keep! Their food costs is crazy, so only works once you've got an established zoo that's making money
@@PlasticSwans Yes i suppose but i have now played planet zoo for about 20 hours and have gained 18k credits already from the technique i used...Vido really helped aswell, lemurs are great! Thank you!
This might sound strange but I actually liked seeing the struggle 😅 I have been watching so many guides where the TH-camr already has like thousands of cc’s to buy cheetahs etc. but I can’t do that with my measly 160! It was nice to watch your video, I have more hope now to try farming more 😂
My big credit making was getting a lusistic male peafowl with 4 or 5 females and letting them breed, the lusistic babys sell so fast, around 15-20 credits each. I thing I paid like 20 credits for the male peafowl. Also making 40-60 with okapis
On console (Xbox) I can't even rename animals in franchise mode. Would be useful for organising a breeding zoo. Anyway, how do you auction off an animal properly? I must be doing something wrong, my only options are always release to wild or quick trade. Thanks
Ive had the same problem with the rewards but i haven’t seen anything wrong with my trading, i haven’t checked tho soooo. But i found out that albino animals sell crazy. My new strategy starts by buying a gold capybara and an albino if i can( if i cant i build up points and then buy 6 one), i then keep a a few of the albinos and just make an albino farm they sell like crazy
I'm scared to keep putting animals on the trade market at the moment, due to the issue I had. If I can't earn credits from the bug there's no point right now
I noticed the gender filter doesn’t work properly when looking for animals. Was looking for a female warthog, clicked the filter, but it did nothing. Clicked it a few times. Males for days.. Scrolled through with R2 and finally found a few females mixed in with more males.
If you have a mix of types of lemurs, do the different species add in to the royal social group for an individual species ? I.e the ring tailed lemurs cam have 30 in a group I think, if I had 20 ring tails and 5 black n white would it count as 25 despite them being different species or could I max out the ring tails then max out the black and white lemurs
I think it counts them as a whole, in terms of habitat room, so 20 ringtails and 5 black and white would count as 25 for space, but it will count individually for social group. So 20 ringtails would be 20 lemurs in their social group, and 5 black and white would count as 5 for their social group.
There's a management tab in the exhibits screen that you can turn off or on, and set the number of animals you want in there, and a setting to either store any extra animals in the trade center or sell for cash
I’ve only got 22% complexity meter. 2000 guests. 5 habitats and I’m getting like 5fps. I literally have to pause the game to move around. Have you experienced this yet. I am in franchise mode and keep getting a bunch of server failures errors. Is this the reason for the lag as surely the game shouldn’t be lagging like this should it? I’m ps5 also
I've only got 2 habitats and 3 exhibit boxes in franchise mode so far. 2000 guests is pretty hefty, what animals have you got to get that many with 5!? I've still got less than 1k guests. I'm going to test this out in another franchise zoo, see how many guests I get etc. before the lag starts because 5 habitats and 5fps doesn't sound good!
I have changed my profile pic to my zoo. As you can - (kind of) see, it’s not big at all. I got 2000 guests but I don’t think there is a way to limit it, which is crazy considering the consoles are less powerful than PCs I have to literally pause the game every time I want to do something as it’s unbearable. I was expecting this when the zoo got to 80% complexity not 25% lol Not impressed so far, I just can’t believe they didn’t put a way to limit the guests and make them leave quicker so you don’t lose out on the money. I can’t remember having this bad of an issue with Planet Coaster and that was on PS4!! Edit. I experienced these issues when the park was half the current size. Now is completely unplayed without pausing.
@@smith9808Hi! I currently have 3k visitors, 9 habitats and 8 terrariums, I’ve had not problem with fps. I would delete the game and install again... my problem was that the game lost internet connection ALL the time, but it looks like it got fixed with the update today.
@@mirandadunn3566 I've heard some people are having issues with seeing the bottom of the screen on some TVs. Hopefully there's an update that allows us to change the display setting to fix this!
@PlasticSwans it could be that not sure if it's xbox but I really can't see money or the points so not sure what points I have so I have to guess on with the money I check overview
I need to check! I did hear a temporary fix was to claim rewards using a controller, but I need to check now whether it works with a keyboard & mouse or if that's still broken
Yep it's disconnecting frequently, doesn't kick me out though. Pressing escape or the circle button on controller works for me. Just annoying that the disconnect pop-up keeps coming up every 10 minutes or so
Was capitalising on the weekly challenge, but honestly lemurs work without the challenge too! Now that the glitches are fixed I need to go back and re-do this guide

Do consoles and non consoles share the same market or not?
@@olddangfool Nope, they're entirely different servers
Yeah fr

When PC released, I started with nile monitors. They breed a lot too. Saved up enough to land a couple of pandas, then it was easy credits!
Yeah
it blew my mind that you don't need to do barrier maintenance on a custom barrier, firing all my mechanics effective immediately 😂
But you’ll still need them to do research.
