I'm sorry but there is sooo much wrong information in this video, people really need to stop following these "optimization" guides with people who literally have no idea what certain options do.
@@othoric336 oh, we got an expert in the comments... What do you know? Id say it works pretty well considering most people don't change any settings at all
@@othoric336 You may probably right. Because most of these videos says us to change the things in different ways. So what do you recommend us? especially in nvidia control panel? Just check the box of 'let the 3d application decide' and have fun?
Also, another helpful tip that I do is to just set the max FPS to whatever my monitor's refresh rate is. 1:1 for an ideal experience. For the majority of games, you can then tweak either within the game's settings or inside the control panel and change the resolution (which also changes the refresh rate) to match what FPS you want. For example, if your computer can only get 60 FPS on a specific game, say Call of Duty, but your monitor is 2560×1440p 144hz. Then you should change the resolution within the game to 2560×1440 60hz. While also setting a max FPS cap to 60. No need to waste more than needed.
MFAA essentially produces quality comparable to MSAAx4 while running it at MSAAx2, for around the same performance cost as the latter. It only activates if the game itself uses MSAA, so turning it off is just leaving performance and better visual quality on the floor
Guys trust me this kind of videos are pointless... Nvidia control panel does not require adjustments, give it a try with default settings and you will see
Yes, also if you just change the Power Options to performence - it automatically change things. Also adjust the appearance and performance of windows - fix your surfing. The only thing from all this Nvidia options is the vibrant colors and just to point to your GPU model directly - thats all!
I don't agree with your stance on G-Sync. Hear me out. With G-Sync enabled and configured correctly, both in windows and the Nvidia control panel, the graphics card syncs the monitors refresh rate with the programs framerate. This completely removes screen tearing which allows you disable V-sync, which in turn drastically improves performance and reduces latency. Which is also better than allowing the graphics card to crank all out all the frames that it can produce when your monitor can't even display them for you to see. I can't see a scenario in which G-Sync or Free Sync are not beneficial, if not due to drivers, or poor implementation by monitor manufacturer.
Yeah I use adaptive sync and vsync, while locking fps to my refresh rate. I used to run riva tuner as well, but not anymore after a hard reset. I appreciate not having tearing and getting a smooth experience more than gaining a few ms of latency, as one who mainly plays TFT, a bit of ranked CS2 (albeit very casually) and story games
Yo can someone link a good guide bruh Im bout to just reset my nvidia control panel settings cus I’ve done sm tweaks over the years and haven’t done it this one, my game feels horrible tho, fps are at like 60%

" and a bunch of other questions too. I honestly don't know why this works so well, but if I set it to 58 in gpu tweak 3, and in Nvidia Control panel, my game runs about 30 percent better. I am able to Run Fortnite using Nvidia DLSS and all the other settings in game at max level, my in game resolution at 2880x1620!!! while I am streaming on OBS with a 10,000 bitrate 1080p, 60 fps. My GPU will be running around 2640. If I turn the max frame rate up to 60, my gpu will go up to 2800, and the temp goes up 10 degrees. This might not seem like a big deal, however, I am livestreaming 8-12 hours everyday and this adds up quickly on GPU wear and tear.

Prefer maximum performance should definitely be on. It does not effect the gpu when not in an application at all, and makes a big difference when in one.
1) Why don't use the NVIDIA App? True ask! 2) Why do the image from my Acer Aspire 5 Ryzen 7 5700u Integrated Graphics is BETTER than my Lenovo Legion 5i i7 12700H RTX 3060 at the same conditions? Same = same resolution, at the same TV, etc, the same game at the same condition looks more COLORFUL and SHARP than at the RTX3060..... In Adrenaline I barely put the hands, at the NVIDIA Panel even with changes, it doesn't look good like a simple Integrated. Please help me, and, I say again: conditions are the same, resolution, etc, etc, etc, and the result is better at AMD.
Its funny how so many of these so called optimization guides totally do the opposite of eachother :)

u dont really need the latest driver
Turn off MFAA if you use Unreal Engine!
how about for quality

Look for the hidden setting called. Install more VRAM.
I was gonna make a video but I assumed everyone already knew about it.

low latency mode or reflex acutally kills fps
Repeating same things but not proper solution . Don't watch this video
DSR --> OFF
Power Management --> Performance Max
Latency : ON
That's All
Pls make the same for AMD
