    I drove the 100kw variant of the KONA - it manages to wheelspin even when I floor it during roll. This 400nm torque figure is absolute mental.

      Either you're joking, or I'm missing something. I thought this was the full electric version, not petrol, no exhaust, resonator, air filters, etc. Having said that, removing any of that stuff is generally annoying to others and has little performance gains so ...

      @sambutler1794 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea and an electric sedan can get to 100kmph faster than most super cars. It’s electric, hardly a fair comparison against petrol cars.

      @@cheez1012 i used that as an example that the traction control works very well given its propensity to fry its tyres with traction off. Your comment isnt really correct.
      Also the Leaf with its air-cooled battery pack is a massive fail for Australia.

    • @cheez1012
      @cheez1012 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@user-vk4vd7vr5t And your vague comment sounds very off topic without the explanation that I assumed you would give and did with your second reply. And I don't really see how my comment is "incorrect" either. I was just stating what I saw in the video.
      I don't see how the air-cooled battery pack is a fail, and I don't live in Australia to see how it's a fail either. I see more Tesla's on fire than Nissan Leaf's here in America, so I again, don't see a problem with the air-cooled battery pack.

    • @user-vk4vd7vr5t
      @user-vk4vd7vr5t 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@cheez1012 how is it off topic? The proof that the traction control works fine is that it goes from 0-100kmh in a shade under 7 secs. That means the traction control works well. How is that off topic?
      Nissan Leaf battery cell failures in Australia are well documented, as are the outrageous costs for replacing the battery packs and Nissan AUs complete disregard for consumers and not warranting failures during the warranty period. You are a fool to choose a Leaf over any other EV
