    Keeping faith even in my time of despair. Health is fading due to my lupus and recently heart attack. I suffered from lupus for many years
    Because of my stents I can not get vaccinated. I was fired from my job Im sharing my story because this is really happening. I’m a single mother, with two boys. I barely have money for food! I don’t know how I’m going to pay my bills! But I’m walking with faith! In Jesus name! I Believe!

      Since the channel owner has not produced another Hebrew lesson for 9 months, let me direct you to Alef with Beth channel on TH-cam. It is an immersive Biblical Hebrew course (a very rare thing!!). At this time there are about 180 videos, some are short, but many run 20-25 minutes. The alphabet is not introduced until lesson 7.

      @@julietbravo1695 thank you for the tip! I took a look at her videos but unfortunately hers is a teaching style (communicative approach) that doesn't suit me at all, I can't learn that way as an adult.
      This mini course was absolutely perfect for me, and I hope SO MUCH that they will decide to pursue it further, I know so many others that have appreciated it as well!

    thank you. this was very good. however, the Hebrew 'ha' simply does not always correspond to the English 'the'. so this simplification yielded a bit of inaccuracy in my opinion. but great video!

    • @alchemyofcolorandstyle
      @alchemyofcolorandstyle 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      would it be accurate to say that it sometimes indicates "this/that", other than "the"? I also think that for the purpose of this course, it was perfectly adequate to teach it that way.

    Great series indeed. Thanks. One question: Is it true that that the word Elohim translated as God is a plural word? If so, why?

    • @alchemyofcolorandstyle
      @alchemyofcolorandstyle 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Elohim is the plural of Eloha, which means God (-im in Hebrew indicates plural). If you have that question, you might find satisfaction in learning about the paleoastronautic theory of God :)

    I a beginning is not so good because there is only One beginning.
    I beleive true beleivers have the blessed Holy Spirit who helps us or gives us the gift of tongues and interpreting tongues i know when i had that. Um not so sure. Because the Spirit gives us understanding He opens our eyes does God.
    I just put forward what i think then ovwr time my error can be seen corrected.

    In the Gen 1:1 example, how do you tell it should be past tense? God created, not God creates?

    • @davidfried7279
      @davidfried7279 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In Hebrew the consonants generally carry the meaning and the vowels the tense. The succession of vowels "ah-ah" in "bara" mark it as third person singular past. Roughly speaking, the present tense would have "o" and "e" in succession--so, "bo-re." The future includes a prefix--"yivreh."

      @@mikegyver3193, but i think you fail to recognize that verse 2 is part of the creation story/account. The Bible doesn't tell us what existed before day 1. The first verse tell us, 'in the beginning, God created the heavens (sky, outer space, and/or heaven) and the earth/land'. This tells us that God was there, but that these other things were *created* at the beginning. So before the beginning, the only thing that the real Bible (in Hebrew) teaches us is that God existed before creation. Simple as that, bud. (Shrug)
