    I have downloaded an app to learn Hebrews and its been hard. They've never explained things so easily. Did not know that you read from right to left. Also did not add the basis sounds for the letters. I feel like e light just turn on. Thank so much. I will be back for all your teachings on Hebrews.

    Thank you! So glad to find someone who teaches Biblical Hebrew while pronouncing the sounds correctly! I have Ben getting irritated listening to videos of the American biblical Hebrew “experts” that I can just tell are lazy in their pronunciation. I think learning the correct pronunciation is as important as learning the meanings. Reminds me of the American western movies where the hick tries to pronounce Spanish words. 😂

I am just starting out learning Hebrew (I'm 76) and even though I have a pretty good grammar book, there's nothing like hearing the correct pronunciation when you do not have an instructor. I am really looking forward to future lessons. Shalom, thanks for having a video like this to teach everyone that wanted to learn the language of Adoni, you're right on theirs no name of Adoni, but lately I've been reading and researching for the different names of Him, He has so many names to me it's up to the person who feels comfortable with saying what His Name Y'shua, Elohim, YHWH(YAWEH), YESU, THAT'S THE ONE MY CULTURE USES YESU, JUST MEANS JESUS. BUT HE IS OMNIPRESENT SO WHEN I PRAY ILL USE ABBA,Y'SHUA, ELOHIM CREATOR

    Dear Ayelet,thank you for teaching and guiding Yahushua's lambies so patiently. The Ruach of Yahushua shines through you. Which brings me to a question concerning the Ruach of Yahushua within us. Could you please tell us what the hebrew word for "spiritual" is, and how to pronounce it? I only know how to spell Ruach HaKodesh but I doubt I pronounce it correctly.
    Do you have a video on that,seeing it is so vital to be filled with the glorious Ruachoth of Elohiym? I wish I knew how to pronunce all the Ruachot: The Ruach Da'at,The Ruach Binah, The Ruach Chokmah, The Ruach Gevurah,The Ruach Etzah, The Ruach Yirah etc.
    Thank you Ayelet for your videos. I just recently saw two deers in the field, maybe that was my reward for praying for you! For those who do not know the name Ayelet means deer.And many here will agree with me that you do appear beautiful and innocent as a deer.
    King Shalomah described Mashiach as a deer. Like the gazelle He appeared briefly and then disappeared but we will see him again!
    Maybe I should write Deer Ayelet in future instead of dear Ayelet when I bug you with my many questions (which you always answer soo patiently.) Thank soo much.
    My name is Grace btw. Have a lovely, divinely protected week, full of insights into the Word of Yah. Much love in Yahushua HaMashiach.

    What is the use of letters with the same base sound that are not sofeet, such as "chet" and "khaf", "tet" and "tav", and others?

    • @TheWORDinHEBREW
      @TheWORDinHEBREW  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      In ancient times, these letters used to have more of a difference in their pronunciation. Ayin, Khet & Tet were more guttural than Alef, Khaf & Tav for example. With times, these differences got smaller and today it is very hard to hear the difference when Hebrew is spoken, unless the speaker has a strong "Sephardic" accent. So, to simplify things for people, I do not differentiate between their sounds in my teachings and teach the same sound for both. Spelling/meaning wise, they cannot be replaced though. I hope this helps.

    Why are there two letters for the same sound? And how will you use them when it comes to real time writing?

    Is there a reason there are so many duplicated sounds? Did these ‘excess’ letters formerly represent distinct phonemes?

    • @ezrichen590
      @ezrichen590 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      There are several letters in Hebrew that sound the same. But in correct, ancient Hebrew, there is a difference in the sound. For example, the letters ת and ט sound the same to a non-Hebrew ear, but in correct Hebrew they are pronounced differently. Old Jews for example from the exile in Babylon (Iraq) express it well.

      @@ezrichen590 thanks... are these sounds similar to the famously unpronounceable Arabic 'throat' letters (GHayn and so on?)

    • @TheWORDinHEBREW
      @TheWORDinHEBREW  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, originally they were created to distinguish between long and short sounds, gutturals and less gutturals and so on, but these differences are so, so subtle, that for a beginner Hebrew student it is not necessary to worry about. Even for an advance student it’s not going to very useful to try and distinguish between them, so this is why I combine them in my teachings.

      I know a little spoken Arabic. Indeed, the expression "larynx" is true for the Hebrew. But not all similar letters are considered guttural. The two main guttural letters are 'ע' - א ( 'ע is considered guttural) 'כ (without a dot inside) - and in front of it is 'ח (considered guttural). (hard to explain...).
      Other letters with a similar sound are 'כ (with a dot inside) and 'ק. But the 'ק sould be pronounced differently, but people are not careful and don't even know, but only old Mizrahi Jews know how to pronounce the 'ק correctly. The letters 'ת and 'ט olso have the same sound, but according to the correct Hebrew the 'ט should sound differently . Maybe search on TH-cam "Ancient Hebrew".
      (Everything I wrote here in Hebrew was translated into English on Google).
