      dude! this is my second day drinking butter coffee and that's exactly how I felt! the first day the feeling came a few hours after the butter coffee wore off and today it came 10 minutes after i drank it. i too use only regular coffee and unsalted grass-fed butter. at least until my first supply of mct oil comes in the mail in a few days.

    You didn't drink the coffee at the end. If you did there'd be a mark on the side of the cup going upwards. You simply took it out of the frame then put it back in

      Sarah Lasheen Okay, okay, okay... If you must know the movie magic: I sipped water for the VO but I did actually sip the butter coffee in the video (but wiped the mug after sipping... a kind of a caffeinated communion). And the spill at the end? That's no movie magic; it did actually go everywhere.

      @@claraestrada5080 The salt serves the same purpose as salting vegetables or meat--it enhances the flavor of the butter, and used to be used as a preservative. It isn't a lot of salt--only a half teaspoon per cup of butter. Woah what!? this is good….
    All i tweaked was salted butter, and a TBS of collagen (biotrust, no flavor, incredible brand, buy it) maple syrup (did you use that?) and i used a protein shake blender cup. Omg this is rich but not sickeningly so. The cream absorbs the MTC oils nicely. the syrup pairs amazingly with that rich butter to give it that real pancake breakfast feel. But its not sweet like a coffee stand coffee, its reasonable and healthy amount of sweet.
    Im about to make a second cup. So good

    Butter is just overchurned (more concentrated) cream, so I dont think chemically there's any difference in the end product, and no reason to expect anything unusual from this cup of coffee (energy wise) other than a slightly different taste. And if you use salted butter, it'll make the cup taste a bit less bitter.

    14 grams of saturated fat in a single cup of coffee? It better be good!

    • @JesseMason
      @JesseMason  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Sean Morgan For me it was an acquired taste. Love the feeling it gives though.

    • @sanjanaguha3554

      Sean Morgan saturated fat from animal fat (butter) burns off easily if you work out even just a little bit.

      This beverage is meant as a replacement source of energy for those on the ketogenic diet. If you eat sugary foods, potatoes, rice and other foods high in carbohydrates, then stay away because it's not going to burn off all that fat that is found in this beverage.

      It's not suppose to have sugar added to it, sugar is what they are staying away from, it turns to fat. However if you would like a touch of sweetness, try a tsp of 100% agave. Also, make sure you are using unsalted, grass fed butter, not "butter" in a tub that's just a heart attack in disguise. Also I do believe the earlier comment was the guy being silly. lol
