Sarah Lasheen Okay, okay, okay... If you must know the movie magic: I sipped water for the VO but I did actually sip the butter coffee in the video (but wiped the mug after sipping... a kind of a caffeinated communion). And the spill at the end? That's no movie magic; it did actually go everywhere.
Thank you! I've been looking for a single cup recipe for this... The thing I read told it only for like a whole jar and it was a lot; this is helpful, Thanks!
Hi Jesse, is salted butter good to go? It's kinda hard to get unsalted butter at my country. I mean there are places that sell it but I suppose the price is kinda not friendly. Also, the MCT oil can be replaced with coconut oil right?
@@claraestrada5080 The salt serves the same purpose as salting vegetables or meat--it enhances the flavor of the butter, and used to be used as a preservative. Butter is just overchurned (more concentrated) cream, so I dont think chemically there's any difference in the end product, and no reason to expect anything unusual from this cup of coffee (energy wise) other than a slightly different taste. That is way too much butter!! Shocking!! I’ve tried this with about a small nail sized piece of butter & will try adding coconut oil to see if it works. I refuse to try any palm oils.
wolverineboy97 no that dilutes the energy benefits of butter coffee. My opinion is that if you want something sweet have a banna with it or add a bit of whey protein but standard forms of sweeters ie. Sugars will otherwise kill the nenfirs you receive.
