The micro-adjust is a hinged design. The fence face does not move parallel to the fence body, it pivots on the left hinge. Not that it matters, just so people understand
The height of the bit only changes when the key is in and turns the whole adjustment knob. What you saw moving was the scale on the top, which you can spin, so that when you go to micro adjust the height, you can spin the scale and set it at the zero point before moving.
You cut a groove and a rabbet; dados run perpendicular to the grain direction. Nitpicking, i know, but there’s a reason they’re called different things.
You put spacer blocks on the outfeed side to move the outfeed side out just a tiny bit. Then you adjust the fence to the bearing on a straight bit. As you feed the wood through it cuts it and supports the outfeed side.
Just Gunnar throw this outt there. I bought about a thousand dollars worth of router table from rockler and I could use a few things. 1 nothing comes with instructions. 2 this is an issue because without either instructions or stickers I have parts I don't know the names too. This means I can't even Google a question because I don't know the name of the part I need to Google.. pheonomic top comes with two aluminum square bars about a foot long each???? What are they??omg after a month of searching their in this video...jointer bars. Omfg

Great job Char! You did a great job covering the features and capabilities. Hope you are going to be doing more instructionals for Rockler.

Nice looking fence. And great job with the video!

excellent observation. thanks for sharing this.
i don't like how that adjustment thing moved 3 -64th of an inch on that last cut. I think it should be able to lock in place if it can't stay steady.

I fail to understand how you use a router table as a jointer.
