    wow, the force is a beast. I've recently purchased a maschine plus, but the more I watch force vids, the more I regret my purchase, lol
    superb track, btw!

      Thanks.
      The Force truly is a beast.
      That leaves you with two options:
      1) Sell your Maschine plus and get a Force
      2) Keep your Maschine plus and connect it with the Force. I'm sure they make a powerful team.

    Hallo,weil ich kein anderen kenne der so gut mit Force umgeht und beherscht frage ich einfach mal.....wie kann ich Akai Force mit Roland DJ 808 Controller syncronisieren? Will Serato DJ mit Akai Force zusammen Mixen....Roland hat ein MIDI out....VIELEN VIELEN DANK IM VORAUS.....

    • @wolfgang_grows
      @wolfgang_grows  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hallo, weil die Midi Clock von der Force meiner Meinung nach zu ungenau ist (zu viel Drift), würde ich vom Midi out deines 808 Controllers in den Midi in der Force gehen. Und die Audio-Ausgänge der Force in deinen DJ-Controller oder einen externen Mixer routen.
      Dein DJ-Controller mit Serato gibt dann das Tempo vor und ist die Master Clock. Du solltest dann am besten nur Force Projekte mixen, die keine langen Audiodateien haben, weil das Timestretching der Force miserabel ist. Solange deine Projekte nur aus Drumtracks und Keygroups sowie Plugintracks bestehen ist das kein Problem. Audiotracks mit langen Dateien sind ungeeignet, besonders bei größeren Tompowechseln. Du kannst auch die Midiverbindung komplett weg lassen und nach Gehör beatmatchen. Da die Force kein Pitchbend hat, ist das allerdings etwas umständlich.

    Hi...Great track...I have Ableton Push Machine MK3...would I get along with the Akai Force workflow? Thanks in advance

    • @wolfgang_grows
      @wolfgang_grows  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. I was also working with Maschine and Ableton first before I moved over to the Force and the workflow clicked right away. However, if I want create a full song, I still export my Force projects to Ableton to overcome the limitations of the Force. Performance-wise the Force is a beast and so much fun. Implementation of Midi controllers could be better though. You should consider these aspects before getting the Force.

    Hi, owned a force a while back and sold it because I couldn't record into it in slave mode. When trying to sample in from external gear it always seemed slightly off and the loop would have that tell tale click:-( Have you had any problems?

    • @wolfgang_grows
      @wolfgang_grows  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, the clips I recorded were always in sync without any noticeable latency. 20-30% of my clips (especially kick loops) had the clicking problem at the beginning/end of the loop. In that case deactivated timewarp and created a little fade in/fade out. If you do that the loops sound perfect but you shouldn't change the tempo of the project afterwards.

    Wake up! Great sounding mix, as I'm listening on my iphone. Did you use any aftereffects, mastering?

    • @wolfgang_grows
      @wolfgang_grows  ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you like the sound. I just used a limiter and a little bit of eq.

  • @vertigev
    @vertigev ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What's the new snapshot feature you are talking about?

    • @wolfgang_grows
      @wolfgang_grows  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's a feature that was implemented in the 3.2 update. Just hit edit plus the respective scene button. It allows you to save a scene with exactly the effect parameters, mixer and synth values that you want for that scene.

    • @vertigev
      @vertigev ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wolfgang_grows Oh that's really cool! So you can "snapshot" a scene, then mess with it, then relaunch it and it's back to normal? I will try this in the morning, thanks!

  • @user82938
    @user82938 ปีที่แล้ว

    How did the claps get reproduced in the scenes further down? I thought if you recorded them into that clip, they would only be in that clip/scene.

    • @wolfgang_grows
      @wolfgang_grows  ปีที่แล้ว

      While playing you can copy an already recorded or programmed clip into an upcoming scene and use patterns again this way. I usually add additional rhythmic or melodic elements to existing clips.

    • @user82938
      @user82938 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wolfgang_grows ah, ok. I didn’t even notice you do that.

    • @wolfgang_grows
      @wolfgang_grows  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @good buddy I do that in some of my other Force performances live on the fly. However, in this video, I used that technique before recording.
