You don't need to drill the spot welds. There are 2 10mm bolts behind the trim inside the car. Peel back the drain bags a little for access

2gr Fe would sound better just listen to the Lotus evora the emira and Exige V6. They all share the same toyota 2gr fe engine and they sound pretty nice . You just have to tune the exhaust for sound. And the kit for the swap is already available and it won't sound like a 4 banger

Wow! you've accomplished in 2 days what I've been trying to do for 6 years. My kit was from some other manufacture and their product is terrible. Your kit is Awesome! and fit together just the way it should, with a lil body work your gonna have a nice-looking ride. Keep them videos coming, cant wait to see the next one.

Looks like a fun car to own. Every body panel bolts on so body damage is easy to repair on rear fenders. What I love is it is a real widebody kit, and you don't have to cut anything to install it. If you put this much into the body then you need a supercharged V6 like the Lotus Exige 430 Cup.

The fact you can unbolt a quarter panel still blows my mind lol you can tell I'm an oldschool car guy 😂
Most modern cars can't, but usually it's only mid engine cars that are able to remove the rear quarter panels.
The more MR2 Spyders I see in widebody kits the more I think they should of came from the factory that way.

Love the project. Make sure to fabricate brackets to hold up the quarter panels so they dont sag when vechicle moves up & down. Paradox: USE RIVET GUN to mount the panels.

Panel Bond is a 3M adhesive that is very good and very expensive. I believe they have a few different types for bonding different materials....steel, aluminum, fiberglass, etc.
Bro get Zeus fasteners...for your body panels...if you don't know what they are look them up...they will make life easier ..and makes it look really clean..just trying to help
I wished I had waited for this kit. I bought the Fortune Veilside kit, and a few months later, this design was out. I ended up getting custom Japanese wheel spacers and converted the 4 lug to 5 lug 5x114 and had advan do a custom wide offset for the wheels to fit the wide body. Good looking car good luck with the build.

Panel bond has to go to steel to the fiberglass. Make sure you put is on where is can squeeze out. You can put random dots on the middle to hold it in spots and then do all the way around the part.

Paradox you can get some billets from raceline or intro wheels custom made for your car with any size barrels if you want 20x14 i bet they can do it and you will have the fitment you want with no spacer

Get some threaded insert rivets, then you can have actual bolts that thread in like they're supposed to instead of using sheet metal screws. As for the radio, you could get a windshield antenna.
Dang that looks pretty sik, at first it looked terrible because you didnt install the rear end but now looks cool. Will be fire once u wrap and add wheels!

I think your build would look alot better with the Porsche rear axle and the front end Porsche suspension 😉 👍 . But something needs to go across the doors because they look bare .
Give it a 1GZ-FE for a more exotic sound

I think a 19in wheel would fit a lot better than a 20, maybe some SSR or Work wheels.
That gap can be fixed in the Bondo prossess before paint

that porsche carrera gt inspired bodykit is so sexy and cute, its becoming a mini carrera gt.
EVO 3 hubs fit almost perfectly but no ABS. Are 2GR engines easy to come by down there ? might be worth a look in.

Wow dude! I’ve never seen a more ridiculous looking body kit but I guess it will finish up looking fabulous! I think maybe a completely new rear suspension set-up is required for an extra 2 feet of track?
Pls do like 13-14inch wide wheels. 3pc us had a lot of super aggressive 18s that would work. Or 19s.
Just dont do a super huge spacer and normal size wheels lol. The 20s look hilarious tho. It could actual work.

You really should have use Nylok’s nuts, or at least lockwashers. Those nuts will eventually rattle loose . other than that that kit is sick. I hope you have it painted first before you wrap it.

For the sound I would go for a 2gr fe swap. With the right exhaust you can make it sound like an exotic. Just listen to the Lotus Amira or evora

The only thing wrong with it is it now looks like a Porsche 🤔 each to there own I guess we all like different stuff . Panel bond is basically sticking stuff together but I’d advise you to buy good quality adhesive there’s loads to choose from 3M products are good …nice job 👍
