Continuing our journey to Sfariyat in the Tiris Zemmour Region of Mauritania. We are almost there.

We are about 15 kilometers from Sfariyat in the Tiris Zemmour Region of Mauritania. The ride is quite bumpy since the area we are passing is sandy. The area is like a grass field in the Sahara Desert. This area has the most grass that Gerak Darma's team has seen on this trip. The wind direction can be determined by looking at the sand dune near the grass. Sand dunes slope upward in the direction of prevailing wind (called the windward slope), and on the leeward side, the slope breaks downward sharply, forming the slip face. We cannot wait to arrive at Khazaine's HQ in Sfariyat to clean up and have lunch.
