@Electroencefalografista Not everything is a red flag. He had money stolen from him, he didn’t lose it willingly. Relationships are not one size fits all, you might see it as an issue, but i know i’d do the same and so would my fiancé. A red flag would be him gambling our savings away and not saying anything. A red flag is NOT telling me he’s fine in a situation when he isn’t because he doesn’t want me to worry about him. If we go out to a restaurant and our order is wrong saying “im fine don’t say anything” to your partner doesn’t make you toxic lmao. You just don’t want them to worry about you. There’s literally nothing wrong with that. She knew the situation. She believed he had $300 taken. Truth is he had way more. It was STOLEN. Chances are if she knew the amount, she’d be extremely worried for him and he didn’t want his s/o to be concerned and sad. Its caring for her feelings. Its not malicious not toxic. Just because society tells us that everything is a red flag nowadays doesn’t mean we have to listen. Just because someone in a relationship does something you wouldn’t doesn’t mean you have yo be okay with it. We’re all different. But judging by his tone and the wink he did it because he cares. If my fiancé wasn’t the same type of person I wouldn’t be with him because that’s how our relationship works. Relationships are about setting personal boundaries for you.

My grandfather had it, too. My grandmother would comfort him. They usually never talked about it, just once my grandmother mentioned how every night he would have horrible dreams and think he's in Russia again and scream and cry and she'd have to talk softly to him and hold his hand and make him understand that he's safe now.
They got married during WWII while he was stationed in Russia and they were married for the rest of their lives. He died after 60 years of marriage.

Romeo and Marianne have already been in some videos, and I've always considered them a lovely and loving couple with a lot of comprehension and connection between them. Thank you! Man i thought i was the only one who noticed...looking up and down cmmts didnt see anyone else catch it. I am a MIL spouse so this vid hit hard for other reasons. My husbandhas served 17yrs, but in sept and oct of this year we experienced some very damaging trauma mh wise due to cyber bullying. And it went further than cyber bullying, this complete stranger called his unit and filed false allegations on him. Why? Because they were a toxic person and he ended their online friendship. That's it. His investigation was intense, OSI ran it. We knew he was innocent but the WAITING, it just ate him up. He became a shell of himself, things got very bad. At his base if they find out you visit a mh professional you'll be put on desk duty and do not arm. It totally isolated him from everyone. So i supported him any way I could and called in the calvary of friends. The day he was cleared we just held each other and cried for hours. That evil individual messed with our entire family! She doxxed the front of our home, our parents homes, my adult kids phone numbers. And so so much more. She's still lying about it on social media claiming she got him fired and other untruths. And even though he was innocent this just damaged his career. We may civilly sue her.
But anyways I knew immediately he lied. He has.

Being in the army is hard. Having a partner in the military is also nerve wracking. I wish the best for these people. To the guy with ptsd, I’m glad he could find comfort and solace with his partner. I hope he also undergoes therapy because it really helps.
They all seem like such amazing people. ❤️ Being in the military can take a huge toll on a person so it's important to always have good support systems and understanding partners so shout out to all of them.

In my experience, it's not that military guys cheat it's that some of them are genuinely fucking crazy lol. Like the type of crazy that needs a restraining order. Almost every single guy I've dated that's in the military talks seriously about marriage, moving in together, kids, etc after two dates and they become super obsessive/clingy. For some people that's not a bad thing, but for a 20 year old girl who is just wanting to enjoy life first and get to know the person it's weird and off putting.
It's the same with cops. I will never date anyone in these fields. I'm not saying there aren't good people in those jobs, but I'm not taking anymore chances.

See I live not too far from Ft. Knox so when I used to use dating apps I would ALWAYS match with the “hump everything that walks” or “has a wife at home” kind of military guys. It would’ve been nice to meet a guy who was serious 🥲

No good relationship is built within 3 months of knowing someone let alone a marriage and family. It seems like you either get the fuck boys or the obsessive married at first sight type of guys when it comes to the military, no in between.
my biggest ref flag with someone that served in any of that is the possible anger issues/being dangerously aggressive and the as someone said ware and tear that happened/happens.

I married my wife before I moved to my first duty station. I never had to worry about her.
I got a call from one of my people. His wife wasn’t answering his calls and he wanted me to go by his house. His truck was out front with expired temp tags. He had bought it prior to leaving. His house was a mess and most of his furniture was missing. She had packed up the kids and left. He had no idea they were having problems. When he came home they tried to work it out. One of the sticking points was the $25K missing from their account. She claimed to not know what happened to it. She spent it, but didn’t know where.
Not being able to trust your spouse when you are away is the worst situation to be in. You can’t focus on the mission and its hard to function.

I thought the interviews and people were great, but really didn't like how the ad was just slipped in there. Kind of felt like Cut had set people up to feel vulnerable about something then use that vulnerability to promote a product. If Cut had mentioned Aura at the beginning of the video, I would have been fine. But adding it in at the end felt a bit gross to me.
Completely agree. It was tacky and exploitative to slip it in at the end. To capitalize off trauma, that's another level of messed up.

I’m in the Army, and the longest Ive been away from my wife is 7 months. I’m doing officer training, so I know there will be a deployment in the near future. It destroys my wife and I hate being away from her, but i love serving and I love helping others (I’m a combat medic)

It’s not easy being married and in the military whether you are a man or a woman both should acknowledge that fact. It’s not selfish to want to help people in the world especially ungrateful people. But that’s why we are that 1% in America that serves because we see the opportunities, and the military can help you in many ways whether it’s money education or a way of life and it has helped me in all those ways.

This is so true, I did an architecture project of a veteran home inspired by Vietnam vet grandfather, and I got so much negativity from my peers, my grandfather spent 11 years in the vet Congs’ prison until he was released from the help of American vets, vets get such a bad rep these days and my grandfather isn’t violent either and he doesn’t even own a gun

Ppl in the military do cheat A LOT, but military spouses (civilian spouses) cheat A LOT as well. Military spouses are particularly cruel when they cheat while their loved one is on a deployment
This is very true, I lost a friend when his love left him while he was deployed on the other side of the world, it just broke his heart. People wonder why military guys can be 'clingy' when cheating in general is something I've seen dozens of times from spouses. Not that the guys don't do it as well but I've seen it more from the civilian side and the pain has always been really bad.

why do americans voluntarily join the army? i’m from Europe and i don't know a single person who would voluntarily support the fcking military system. can someone explain this to me? I couldn't find anything about it on the internet. and why are their identities stolen so often?
Easily accessible job that advertises long term benefits like school, housing, travelling.
Some join because they dom't want to go to college or get a regular job (or can't get one)
Others I supposed it's family tradition and brainwashing.
@Kay also schooling gets paid for and for those in other countries you can easily fall into ~100k + of debt or even 200k+ for a masters degree, some had no where else to go, really like strict/tough environments, etc.
Benefits for school and housing. But also a large part of the murican military are criminals and/or sociopaths.

Sociopaths because why wouldn't they.
There are American families where basically their entire family has had some stint in the military, it's kinda cultish, they'll pressure their children.
