  • The service instructions tell you to blow out the radiator every 10 hours but that simply does not solve the obstruction problem on the radiator. You will need to do this eventually if you are doing tree work with the Bobcat.
If you need help fixing overheating trouble on your MT100 this could be your problem.
I'm sorry the video is installation only but we did not start filming until the radiator was out. I had no idea how much material was obstructing my radiator.

Eddy - great video first of all. As a preventative measure, could i take off the front gray screen door and two side-front screen doors to access radiator? Then give it a good wash every 50 hrs to reduce the overheating problem? Removing the radiator seems like a huge headache and I would rather try to clean it every so often in order to avoid taking out the radiator.

removing the screens helps you get water or air closer to the radiator. The 10 hour maintenance tells you to blow out the rad but it doesn't have any effect with those screens in.

I think that the coolant heats up, expands and will overflow after you shut it off because its not getting circulated and cooled anymore.

I should have recorded that happening but that's the principle. I could actually stop it from leaking by just keeping the machine idling for thirty seconds longer.

We own 5 mts in our rental business and these screens are nothing but trouble.all had overheating problems because debris gets caught behind the screens. We pulled all the screens out of every machine and never a overheating problem with any mt.Its a terrible design
