I just purchased this compressor. And it arrived with a defective inverted so i connected it to 12v. It started for 20 seconds and shut down and did not start again. It did not even msg it through the 30 seconds bath lube. Xisico refuses to send a return label. They don’t care about the customer or their dealer. No more xisico for me 😖

I don’t understand why there is an off button under the start button-? You are turning it off by using the breaker off switch- that off button under the start doesn’t even turn it off i believe.
I wonder if there is a description for the service kit what type of orings I need and plastic oring discs and burst disc, springs, that I could buy them from a shop.
I have the newer version I've had it for about 4 months and I have a problem it worked good until now when I finish filling up my I turned the bleed valve open and it doesn't relieve the pressure what could that be I've only used it 8 times
Mine is in the mail.. just checking online video before i open the box.. but i was wondering.. since this compressor use oil. Can the compressor sit upside down? What if i decide to ship it back, will i need to empty it from its oil? Or can we drive it around on a bumpy road? Also im not sure i understand the difference between the burst hole and the safety valve.. one pop out when there is too much pressure while the other just stop the machine in case the auto doesn't work? Something like that? Sort of 3 level of safety if we include the set gauge.. When is the rebuilding video coming up?
Hello, I've noticed that when I search for Xisico compressor I sometimes get the GX CS3 compressor in the results. Are these two made by the same people? (I know pretty much all are made in China). These two just seem to be interchangeable in the search results. Thanks
I've been looking at this compressor. The only thing that puts me off is the separate inverter. I wish it was built in like the Nomad 2. I wonder if there is a way to upgrade the main unit with a smaller inverter than can fit inside the case so it's just 1 unit?
If the inverter was built in it would be heavier and not as portable. If you take it in your vehicle you don’t need the inverter as you hook it directly to your battery and therefore the extra weight of a built in inverter is nice not to have.
Is there a filter for incoming air ? I asked this question on Amazon and got an answer about installing an inline filter. I am talking about filtering the air that is entering the compressor.
I tried to fix my converter box by myself I saw a fuse in there and it looks burnt I was trying to replace it it is soldered on each side I blew it up don't mess with it it is very dangerous it is a special type of fuse that thing had enough spark to kill a it was loud I found one on Amazon the exact same thing for about $65 take my advice don't mess with it I'm good at tinkering with things but electricity I thought I could just change the fuse sounds simple but no way
Because it loads up the pressure on the piston too fast and may lock up the electric motor causing it to overload. Its better to have the motor already spinning then close the bleed valve.
Man that looks like too much work to me why not just get the little red one there that's made by the same company that requires no oil or grease you just plug it in and use it and they're exactly the same and they're made the same except that one takes oil and the red ones just air-cooled no oil or grease or water
I have the new version that despite not having the port so to install the oil / grease, still refers to installing the grease in the owners manual. Luckily the Amazon item discription mentions that the owners manual will instruct to add grease but this new version does not require as much. Personally I would like the version that allows changing the lubrication. Imagine if you bought a car from China and it stated there was never a need to change the oil?
I was watching a video where I've also got the new version and if you remove that rubber piece in the back there is a screw in there that you can take out and I think you can put oil in it if you think it needs it I think the newer version they already put the oil in it and they say it's oil-free I have an open mind but I'm sure if you remove that screw that will be oil in there I guess I'd is up to you if you want to change it out or not I'm thinking they're probably putting some kind of synthetic oil in there and it'll last a long time that's why they're saying oil-free
Just unboxed mine. The manual shows a syringe of oil, but it was not included in the shipment. Do you have the type/weight of the oil? Looks like mine is to be put in the other port in the back when stood up. Mine looks the same, but red, and there is no oil plug as shown here. Perhaps it’s the newer one? Thanks.

Always leave the fan run after releasing the bleed valve and shutting the compressor itself off.

I have my inverter Velcro to the side so it’s always attached
Take a look at the BSA portable compressor it’s identical to this with a built in transformer

Why not start with the bleeder valve closed?
Because it loads up the pressure on the piston too fast and may lock up the electric motor causing it to overload. Its better to have the motor already spinning then close the bleed valve.
