Oh Boy!! I've worked on a couple of the original Maestro units and didn't want to return them to the owners!! Such a weird and funky sounds. Thanks for the review!!
If you want to hear the origianl pedal in a musical context Ludwig Goransson famously used this in Childish Gambinos's "Red Bone". I bet it was also used in a bunch of 70s funk records.
@@BsMusicShopMI i grew up with my dads 1484 and black Japanese Elektra les paul clone. Dad finally sold the amp to my friend who is a producer/professional musician who quickly realized it can't play live gigs. It now lives in his studio... Still has the original jensen speakers! Btw, the Jackson Audio 1484 pedal is a perfect recreation of the overdrive of a silvertone... First time i plugged it in and let it ring out, it took me back to my childhood playing the silvertone.
I read 'recreated with an analog vibe' or something like that on the website. That's enough to put me right off..I hate these digital recreations..they are not the same. Website does not even say which parts are digital and which are analog? Have to say Warm Audio are knocking it out of the park with their genuine analog recreations right now. I bought all of them.. even the monster Jet phaser which is hard to use well in my opinion and I think no longer produced by Warm Audio.

It was so neat. I had a ton of fun with it!

WOW I need this
It’s so fun. I really dig it.
Beautiful Silvertone
I love it. I have been collecting them for years. Back when they were worthless.

Sounds like there's a Hi-Hat w/ sleigh bells playing along.
You got it.
Seems perfect for fans of Suicide and Spacemen 3❤
I feel like this was invented for a Booty Collins bass solo
My heart was invented for a Bootsy Collins bass solo.
booty collins made me lauGh. 🤣🤣🤣.
good ol' booty
so is this exclusively monophonic? i hybrid pick and the percussion section is the most appealing to me....
I think it uses the pick attack to trigger the percussion
I believe the octive is monophonic though
so great sounds but I found the output a bit low, needs a booster
good review man. but leaving the precussion sound on for most of it is driving me nuts hahah
That’s all I want it for! Haha.
This is the coolest thing I never want to use.

Message Templo.
All his stuff is pretty analog. I really doubt there is much digital in this but you’d have to ask him. Feels pretty analog to me
