The phlanger effect is based on the piai phlanger it was a do it yourself pedal kit from the 80s that let you build your own phaser flanger combo pedal the original is crazy and hard to get one tuned right to not sound all crazy so most I've heard all sound different you need like an oscilloscope at least to set the internal trim pots

Alexander pedals are super rad I've just never gotten one cause I don't really know where to start and each one costs so much I could only afford one a month and not much else unless I get like a used behringer or joyo pedal or something and there's so many of those Alexander pedals that sound awesome to me but besides listening to demos there aren't any music stores anywhere close that even stock them one would have to pop up in say a pawnshop for me to ever get together one myself

I have the vintage 70s script dis+ but I want that but not for the price they are selling for on eBay

The one they released isn't great like this. They are missing the B-bender, which is probably the main reason to get this guitar in the first place. That and the Drop D tuner. Its a beast!

Great guitar I literally traded a Gibson 100yr anniversary Les Paul studio for it. No regrets the Les Paul sounded nice no doubt but it was heavy, sides of frets were rough, paint job on back of body had paint runs & definitely was not as comfortable to play as the PRS the PRS sounded great comfortable and no fret issues

His single coils are not really single coils. They are stacked, making them more of a humbucker that just looks like a single coil . His book he used a whole chapter to explain this.

How could they know that there hasn’t been any degradation to any of the components they tested over all these decades? This guy is an MXR dealer. Anyone buying them to resell is lame. Anyone buying it thinking they’ll sound like Randy is also lame.

Thanks so much Brian! I really dig the bass section of your demo. Any of those modes that sounded great with octave fuzz have a whole other tone, when the order is swapped! Order Switching is super useful in picking out what tone you're going after! The Strap Bender Expression Pedal is KILLER!!!!! Wow! Very cool of you Brian. Try it in All Wet mode to get a better "bender" response. (Double Click the Blend Knob to go all wet.)

Saw this one on guitar center. So here's my story. I'm looking for a prs with colors so when I'm about to pick up the custom red and a yellow burst this one catch my eye and put back the custom that I'm holding. So I bought this one because the color can be play into metal. So when I got home I started to change strings action set up etc. And now this is I'm using everyday, my gibson studio is now signing off. I'm planning to buy prs again with different color

Eather this or the Trick pro V1 would be the smoothest because it is helping the beater move back and foreward, has anyone tried both or have an oppinion on witch is best or any other single bass pedals that might be the best?
