Thank you very much for this tutorial. You can also set other temperatures, especially for a prime rib in reverse sear... So, if I want to stop cooking for medium temperature 60°C, I can create an alert at 56°C and with searing and the 10/15 minutes of rest, the meat will be on top !
Two major let downs with this model that led me to upgrade to the Inkbird IBBQ-4T (with WiFi). Firstly, the 4XS disconnects often, even when within range, for no apparent reason. Secondly, the delay between the temp at the unit and the time it takes to send that info to the app is ridiculous. My chicken, for example, will hit the target temp I set in the app of 165F. Yet when I get to the unit it's already on 170+. The delay is significant enough to be annoying and potentially results in overcooked food, worst case. The newer WiFi models update instantly from unit to app.
Wow, that's such a letdown for you on this device. Sorryntonhear that. I must be lucky that I don't really have those issues with this device. Thank you for yout input.
@@KenPeriman Thanks for the reply. I was looking at the ThermoPro TP25 on Amazon and stumbled across the Inkbird. What app does the inkbird use? Thanks for your help. Now we need to crush Clemson...
Jim, it uses the BBQ go app. Just look for it in the app store and download it. In the package of the device it will tell you what to download. And yes, we have a huge test on the first game and also to see if this is Dabo's team or was it Trevor's team.
Hi! Great video. When it hits the desired temperature, does the app sends a continuous alarm/beep to notify you on your phone app? It'll be handy if you're away from the device and can't hear it beep.

Yes, you can set your own temperature as you like.
Mine will be in on Monday. Can't wait.
Sounds great, I hope you enjoy this as much as I have.

Go Dawgs!
How do you like it now?
Still works great and is super useful for me now and I don't grill or smoke without it.
