I do not particularly enjoy the taste of any kind of vinegar. The mental image of someone taking a swig from a bottle of vinegar made me remember the taste and both combined caused a bit of cringe. That said you do you.
The reason is because we are allhuman. We as a species have not and most likely will never be able to suppress/remove jealousy, greed, and others similar emotions.
Its the remaining method to get rid of the weak and keep evolving. War keeps our social capabilities under test, only the better working communities survives, just like the ants.
