    • @targitausrithux2320
      @targitausrithux2320 5 ปีที่แล้ว +49

      Kyo Sokutai we run better than most animals... not speed but sheer endurance. Sure we walk a while but it’s RUNNING that we are really good at, the tendons and our feet are designed to use some of the energy of the leg going down to spring our foot back up, and this combined with a capacity to sweat while also using our arms to swing to make more momentum to move faster or save energy, combined with how our leg muscles are designed... we literally will outrun most animals if it was endurance based... not only that but we are pretty intelligent and as such have the capacity to use easier or faster routes plus we made shoes allowing us to run for much longer.... we literally are one of THE best endurance runners on the planet... very few known species can run a marathon, like us for example. A horse maybe but if you took it to greater lengths, even the horse would begin to find us catching up to it in time... though I do believe horses are one of the best endurance runners too or may it be another creature I’m thinking of... either way, only a few creatures beat us in endurance based running

    Dyson spheres sound like a good idea, could hold the population of entire planets with extra room.

    • @michaelboots0314
      @michaelboots0314 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Yea but like once Dyson spheres are common where are all the raw materials coming from as there is only so many resources take it from someone who has yet to win a single game of stellaris for two years and haven’t won one because of a lack of minerals I know it’s different but it brings up a important question where are all those resources coming from

    • @GhostRaziel13
      @GhostRaziel13 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Dyson swarms are actually a more cost effective and repair efficient plan, a swarm of satellites orbiting a start absorbing power and returning it to earth would suffer less damage as debris moved through space if a meteor hits one satellite no problem, if it hits a sphere it's much harder to repair and who knows how that damage could affect efficiency

    • @TRAILLER
      @TRAILLER 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes a LOT of extra room. did you know that if every human on earth lived in one single suburb, that suburb would be the size of Texas or
      0,005% Earth land surface
      0,001% total Earth surface
      add in food production
      about 7% adding in agriculture
      about 18% adding in animal produces
      And that using fields
      stacking the space using skyscrapers we divide such by 10 to about 2% of the planet dedicated to human

    I think it be more realistic based on ancient history that aliens would come down and question what the metric system is because you hear stories about how "the gods gave us the knowledge to read and write" and that extends to measurements. Ancient man used Inches, Feet, Palms Cubits, Yards and Miles for a reason.

    3 hours for 10.8km is like below walking speed. People should have noticed that the aliens move terribly slowly. 1 hour would have been better to keep the suspense of disbelief and still a quite slow speed.

    • @MalefAzelb

      It's slow for us but I mean, what else can run for several hours without slowing down? We litterally evolved to chase our prey until they get too tired to continue.
