The resilience of abused animals is phenomenal.
They really put humans to shame. Unlike humans, they don't wallow in past trauma, they just live for the future and try to make the most of it, even if they have permanent damage. It's incredible and inspiring.

That is because they do not as ponderous. Humans think about missed potential, things that could have been, the terrible memories and how their life is still negativly effected by what has happened. With that it comes the concept of justice which animals do not understand. Humans are angry over having faced such injustice because it really should not have been that way. Animals just do not see how bad or good things are as humans do.

The ability of a puppy like this to put aside all the torment and sadness he encountered, just so he had a human to bork at and a finger to nibble on, is amazing. The growth is so extreme, he really DIDN'T look like the same dog.
One things that I have realised after watching so many animal rescues and positive feedback and concern for innocent neglected animals that these are the people that brings beauty and love into the world to make it a better place. Thumbs up to the rescuers, vets and carers that bring them back to health and the people willing to adopt them for a better life. You are all very special people❤️❤️❤️

Hello Lisa👋 how are you and your beautiful family doing?
Now more than ever with increasing outside heat we need more people to foster stray animals and find them homes. I currently live with a family member and can't bring in anymore than I already have but my sister has found 2 baby kittens outside dying of heat exposure and starvation but they have made wonderful transformations and are now tiny chubby kittens who love being held all the time. All smiles and purring non stop.
What an amazing boy! He is a true survivor! Thank you for giving him the life he deserves!

H4ter26 Hunting is understandable, especially if your going to eat it. Doing it for just a trophy is kind of where it’s excessive, mainly if you do it multiple times to an animal that’s the exact same type ( like killing 2 of the same species and throwing away most if not all meat). The dogs that chased you might have gotten excited, or were guard dogs and thought you were ‘posing a threat’. Not all dogs are evil and yes, I know they aren’t human and feel less pain but that doesn’t mean they feel no pain. And even though it’s the internet, at least try to make the sentences understandable for the person on the other side (you also got the force of autocorrect).

My wife and I have fostered for years we have 3 "failed fosters" as i call them.I like to believe there are more good people than bad in this world keep up the good work.
There is more good people than bad people by a huge majority, the problem is bad people exert power and control over others which makes them more visible.
Seeing him gain weight and fill out his ribs makes my heart happy

I noticed that too. He may have been horribly neglected when it came to diet, but something tells me everything else in his life up until that unexplained downward spiral was going okay; he seemed he'd been loved and cared for until something went wrong with his owner. There was no mange, eye, ear, tooth or foot infections etc.

I humbly but seriously have to thank "Hope for Paws" and "DODO" for their videos. I have spent most of my years afraid of and hating Pit Bulls (due to negative news reports of attacks and such). Hope for Paws and Dodo videos have shown me that they can be really, really lovely and beautiful pets. If I found one in turmoil today, I wouldn't hesitate to try to help them. When he wagged his tail he melted my heart. My little jacks just had two operations and he even wagged his tail even though he was still heavily sedated. That's why I love all dogs.
It pisses me off how this breeds true kindness is tooken for granted by unworthy owners...pitbulls are misunderstood in so many ways that certain countries have ban policies toward the breed and it's not the breed at all its the fuckin irresponsible owner who wants to be seen with a naturally tough breed and tries to bring out their natural tough capabilities on purpose and for show...in actuality the pitbull is a nanny dog who adores children

Darryl Johnson I think the reason they’re banned is so assholes can’t keep them because they are powerful dogs. Some People just take advantage of their power and fight them or mistreat them so they turn anxious and aggressive. I know any dog can be aggressive but pit bulls are very strong.

I've read a lot of articles on pitbulls since I wanted to understand this whole thing better. Now I know that a lot of "pitbulls" are completely different breeds, usually mixes. For example, the dog that actually scares me (and I'm not ashamed at all to admit it) is called Dogo argentiniano I think (something like that anyway). American pitbulls don't look scary at all in comparison. BUT one article said that they're not "nanny dogs" either, the parents just took pictures of their kids next to the family dog. The whole nanny dog thing is a myth, and any large breed shouldn't be trusted when there are children nearby, and in my opinion, the kids themselves are the main reason. A lot of kids are loud and hurt animals, whether intentionally or unintentionally, and I don't blame dogs if they snap. But then, the kid ends up with stitches or worse, and the dog gets thrown in a shelter or worse. Basically any person who has small kids and large dogs are taking a risk. I grew up with 2 large dogs, nothing happened, but it was just luck. They weren't anything close to pitbulls though. I understand that people like you, who love the breed, are saddened by the prejudices and the abuse, and I agree with what you said about the owners, I only see assholes who pretend to be tough owning pitbulls or even more muscular breeds, breeds half of them probably couldn't even control if push comes to shove. Sadly, kind, regular people usually don't take up the challenge of raising anything close to a pitbull, at least where I live. So we're left with these assholes who don't even bother to put a muzzle on a dog like that, and hits them with the leash to "assert dominance". Lol I just hope that if those dogs snap, they'll bite the owner and not some random person on the street.
Bottom line, I think all pitbulls and any similar breeds should wear a muzzle when leaving their house. Do pitbull lovers find that unreasonable? Just curious.

Well I can't speak for you and your fears of a particular breed but I Will say this the American pitbull terrier or Apbt correctly pronounce is a breed all to itself and they were called the nanny dog during WW2 because during that time they were the ideal family dog because of their patients with young children..now Apbt fall under a classification called "Bull Breeds" the Old English Bulldog being the originator of every last one them which consist of Staffordshire bullterrier a breed all to itself, American Staffordshire bullterrier larger version but yet a breed all to itself, bullterriers a breed all to itself miniature bullterrier also a breed all to itself
American Bulldog a breed all to itself the boxer or German bulldog a breed all to itself the French bulldog a breed all to itself and Boston terrier or Boston bulldog is a breed all to itself..now thats just some to name a few but society has been labeling the bull breeds I just listed as all pit bulls when the apbt is a breed all to itself...now with these bull breeds I listed theres a lot of people in society thats doing backyard breeding trying to cross one of bull breeds with mastiffs or other bull breeds to get a more powerful guard dog or to just be seen with a dog that looks intimidating

I don’t understand why people don’t understand that the only reason a pit pull is aggressive is because of how the owner raises/ treats the dog, if you treat the dog good and raise them correctly it will be the best dog ever. I know this because I have a pit bull myself , I’ve had him for 13 years and he hasn’t even growled at a person that I can remember.

Don't ask me why my family's dog growls and barks at us though. She's like, paranoid. Barks at every noise she hears. This is why I want a cat, I've always been a cat person.
Icy Fleckz , let me restate what I said, my dog has never growled at a person like it’s in danger or like it’s going to hurt them. And I’m not a cat person, I do like dogs more but no matter what animal it is, it’s not Acceptable for any animal to be treated like this
I am so glad he finally got the home he deserved.. people can be selfish and evil monsters. I cannot believe ANYONE could do that to a person or an animal. I am so happy he is doing better now! What is sad is that he didn't get like this overnight. How people can see this poor animal starving and walk by is sickening. Thank you for rescuing this poor pup.❤

I am seriously crying, crying for all the pain this poor puppy had to go through but also crying because he's so happy now and there is nothing more beautiful to see. Thank yoi for helping him, loving him and taking care of hi.. He deserves all this and more. May those who abandoned him be damned, those are not people, they are ignorants and wicked beings that should not even exist, Shame on them.
