Vampire lores are extremely flexible, because they are pervasively present in superstitious lores of almost every culture all around the globe. You can put a vampire in 29th century America, 5th c bc Rome, 14th AD Europe, 19th C England or 21st Century New York and all will be equally believable. You can never go wrong with a vampire lore. Quantum Vampire is a beautiful idea. I am extremely impressed.
True day! Because they were once Human And aside for being the undead in most ways still are aside for being nocturnal and drinking the blood from live Humans lol They still enjoy what they enjoyed in life mostly good music, art Etc, and they learn to enjoy new things as technology changes like Brad Pitt loving movies in interview with a vampire etc!
i know we're still kicking around 'do androids dream of electric sheep?', but i think the question of our age:
do quantium vampires drink nuka cola quantum? - would at least explain the market for them 🤔
Flexible and in many cases distorted by fiction. The idea that sun light hurts them is dead wrong as is killing them with a stake in the chest. Also that certain talismans can affect them is hubris of religion. The stake can paralyze them but pull it out and they are fine. Sunlight weakens them some just doesn't kill them.

I feel like vampires never get any recognition in creepypastas so this is cool

@@LighthouseHorror I don't know. I feel like something that kills by simply just leaving 2 tiny puncture marks on someone's neck is that scary. Whereas something that rips out a quarter of someone's neck and takes out the whole jugular sounds horrifying. It sounds like such an awful way to go, and therefore it seems scarier.
Eldritch quantum vampires ... I like it! The vampire's voice was SO well done, too.

I know Redacted Park, I used to hike it every year on Feb 31st. It is located 200 miles north of Texas, 100 south of Oklahoma 50 mile east of California and 75 miles west of Arizona. A beautiful desolate place full of towering growing brown dwarf rocks. Where birds swim and fish fly in the inky black of the noon day sun.

I can tell that the writer of this story is familiar with Alberta and this makes me happy. As an Albertan, I can tell that the [REDACTED] National Park would have to be either Jasper National Park or Banff National Park. I lean towards Banff National Park because of how the Rocky Mountains curve to the east, bringing them closer to the Badlands, which are home to the Buffalo Jump, a place where it was known that the Aboriginals would drive the buffalo off the edge of a cliff and into a canyon. That's what I thought of when petroglyphs of buffalo were mentioned in the intetview. Very interesting 😀

Steven King got vampire right in Salem's lot things of horror only wanting to rip the jugular out and lap up the blood , discussing things that smell of death and are demonic in nature going after family members first , this story is also very good thank you for uploading it
This is a really cool story. It’s fascinating to delve deeply into the lore when hearing about a particular supernatural creature. Even better is having that story narrated by the best storyteller you can find! Excellent work, Stephen.
4:00 fun fact: animal attacks often leave no trace of struggle at all. In fact, most incidents of disappearance due to animal attack are only resolved if remains are found, otherwise the case stays cold/unsolved.
Anyone noticed that they said 1715 flintlock pistol which reminds me of the 1715 flintlock pistol in predator 2 at the very end when the clam leader hands glam glut Danny Glover is Amy glover a pistol or a flintlock pistol says 1715 on it and then I said that plenty of times now you guys get it Oh and if you remember in the 2nd predator they also called him a demon you know so could have been very easily mistaken for a vampire because of the way that they skin and they did they skin in pale things boom
Fun fact: If said cases are cold/unresolved, how have you concluded they were animal attacks? Probably were, sure, but the entire premise of unresolved cases precludes (contemporaneous) explanation.
@@xebek People don't disappear without a trace in the woods via kidnapping & "getting lost". It's an open secret what happens to people when they vanish in the wilderness.

@@xebek It isn't if there aren't any other probable causes & no trace of human activity. No tire tracks, footprints, or traces of other people that might otherwise create leads in an investigation. This is why these cases are legitimately cold; I can give you some examples if you want, but there are tones of these unsolved cases floating around that have strong indications of potential animal attacks, although for the reasons you listed they aren't counted as animal attacks due to an overwhelming lack of evidence or the state of the partial remains upon discovery.

This was a really great story by Celephais1985, so detailed and horrific, spanning decades. It really drew the listener in eliciting chills. Makes me glad I’m nowhere near that National Park!! Lighthouse Horror’s narration made it even more chilling as he made it all come to life. That picture of the ancient one within its human host was creepy, terrifying, and masterfully done. Kudos to the artist, Juras! Fantastic way to spend a Sunday evening. Now I just have to hope I’ll be able to get some sleep tonight LOLOL!! Thank you all very much!

This is SO much better than the usual creepypasta fare, and has so many nods to classic authors I was having a classic horror lover's heart attack.
"Are you awake Count Magnus, are you asleep Count Magnus" and "Some Unknown Gulf of Night", and "Dweller of the Gulf" in just the last portion I listened to, plus a ton I noticed yesterday when I started the story.
And that's without counting the half a hundred lovecraft references.

This is another story that I thought I had heard but again it is not. Maybe I heard a much shorter version. This is very good and even though it's a longer version I had to listen to the whole thing. It's the stuff of nightmares! I really enjoyed it!
Your ability to be the voice of two different people talking to each other is very impressive, the way you change ur tone and cadence for different "people " without (doing a voice) not sure if im explaining myself properly.

1715. Just like the flintlock pistol the Predator gave to Danny Glover at the end of Predator 2. Except that one belonged to Italian pirate Raphael Ardolini who apparently met his end at the hands of that Predator chieftain. Also, this is a pretty good story. Would make a nice mini series.

I listen to your stories every night. I love them! ❤ Don't ever stop doing them. Sometimes when I am upset, your stories pull the mind into another world. Gets the mind off the stress.
I admire your voice technique. Do you have people who help you with the recordings or are you able to do all the different voices yourself? maybe you've answered this to somebody else but I really like the smoothness of everything going through the story. It reminds me of the old-time radio shows. They play them up here where I live as we don't get any radio from outside the valley which you've surrounded by heavy Rock mountains. I especially like it when you get a Tremor in your voice The Seer it sells the story thank you for taking the time. I now listen to you while I do housework

The Underworld movies are excellent, no matter how cheesy and dumb they get. I've always preferred my Vampires monstrous tho, like 30 Days of Night or that new movie Blood Red Sky
