17:30 after finding out brooms can be used as crafting items at the Winterhold college forge to make atronach staffs, I grab every broom. I haven't gone down to that special forge yet, but I have several brooms -_- and a firesalts I have to remember to not add to potions.
@@knightwalker2838 yeah it's in that cave under the college of Winterhold. The cave system is called "the Midden", and it's called the Atronach Forge. You get sent there during the college questline, or if you become a master of Restoration magic the trainer also sends you down there, and I think a few of the other wizards there have dialogue lines about some students that went down there. But if you explore around the college you might stumble upon it. There are hostiles down there too so it'd be a proper adventure to explore it!

Ralof's sister has more valuable stuff in her inventory and house. I go with Ralof and then join the Imperials. A free Skyrim is a bad idea, especially while the Thalmor still exist.
@@SwaxMain4u The Empire is bidding their time and rearming. The Thalmor doesn't have the manpower to fight another war. The Empire does because they have a much higher average birth rate. The Thalmor is trying to divide and conquer because they know this. that's why they attacked Hammerfell and instigated the Skyrim civil war. If they can get Skyrim to leave the Empire, they deny the Empire mineral resources to rearm and deny food imports to Skyrim, making it easy to conquer them.
Ralof literally has a line I first heard at Korvanjund (don’t remember the spelling) where he says he’s heard some things about Ulfric he doesn’t like. Ralof is the not racist stormcloak besides Galmar.
Can we all take a moment to appreciate the irony of alduin saving the life of the guy destined to kill him... poor lad, had he never showed up he could have taken over all of tamriel... but he fucked up and got himself killed by destroying helgen

Snow Tower to me means solitude "When the Snow Tower lies kingless and bleeding" Skyrim has no high king thanks to Ulfric and thus the land itself is tearing apart due to the civil war, bleeding the blood of the sons.
My god, I jumped into this playthrough far far too late but I am so glad I did. I enjoyed everything about this, especially the book reading at the end. It's so refreshing to have a playthrough that is equal parts goofing around and cracking jokes, while also enjoying and respecting the dialogue and lore. Definitely gonna be my new main Playlist for when I'm working, thank you so much!

There are multiple examples of this in Skyrim itself and in Elder Scrolls lore. The part where hadvar screams "Out of my way!" At Ralof is the most emotion shown from any character in the whole game, and that's only because that's the only line that someone doesn't sound like a sociopath was talking

Empire wants order, Stormcloaks want freewill, both want peace. Empire doesn't believe in freedom of religion, Stormcloaks are (mostly) racist. Strangely enough, I've seen basic Stormcloak guards that were female, yet no female Empire basic guards. Both factions support same sex marriage (everyone in game does for that matter). Both are good, both are bad. I choose the "F*ck both your factions" faction.
You inspired me to start a Legendary Survival playthrough myself, and holy hell is it brutal. Can't wait to see how you deal with it, I will keep watching now!

I'm a year late! But that's ok. Means I can binge over 250 hours of enjoyable Skyrim content I've played Skyrim for thousands of hours and have bought it on almost every platform it's been released on. Some I've never downloaded amd played. Just bought it for no reason lol.. Sometimes running hundreds of mods at one time on PC. I've always wanted to watch someone else play. I could never find a good playthrough to waste hours away like I could when was young. Just sitting on the couch watching my friend play on the Xbox 360. thank you for installing SkyUI lol. Its appreciated. The normal skyrim inventory system makes my head hurt. Also, thank you for keeping a light modlist, its nice seeing vanilla skyrim and not anime-ized skyrim. i'd recommend installing enhanced lights and FX. Makes interiors look way nicer, gets rid of the ambient lighting placed everywhere. It doesnt affect performance at all, at least from my testing, and theres configurable options for how dark you want the game to be. As viewers need to be able to see and all. The more hud mod is good aswell, displays more information when hovering over things. Tells you if the weapon has higher damage then your current, and even says what enchantment it has without you having to pick it up first and look at it in your inventory. Immersive hud is a personal favorite for me too, it auto hids HUD while you're just exploring so the game looks prettier, and everything comes up again when you get into combat or hover over an item etc. Its amazing how a simple removal of the HUD when you dont need it can make the game feel completely new.
I reference this playthrough constantly while playing Skyrim with my partner, and have finally decided to binge it from the very beginning again. I can't wait 😍

I have been playing Skyrim since the day it released on 11-11-11 yet I had no idea this was a thing.
You could just hit the salmon with the Flames spell.
Hanging Moss, Bear Claws, and Giant Toes are just as good for Alchemy leveling. Easier to get a lot of as well, fuck salmon roe.

The fact that Ralof still wants you to come as a Dunmer, even though stormcloaks are notoriously racist against elves, has always been strange to me.
I mean, Ralof thinks the empire are Thalmor Simps so the fact that the empire was about to execute you proves in his mind that your good.

If there's anything I've learned from all these stories, it's that if I ever learn of someone prophesied to kill me, I should just let them be.

There are multiple examples of this in Skyrim itself and in Elder Scrolls lore. If you want to assign prejudice to an entire race because a few individuals are full of hate then sure, every race in Tamriel is racist.

The part where hadvar screams "Out of my way!" At Ralof is the most emotion shown from any character in the whole game, and that's only because that's the only line that someone doesn't sound like a sociopath was talking

Three he is only calling you prisoner because you where not on his list aka he dose not know your name so instead of saying “hey dark elf” (look back to point one) he said prisoner until he gets to know your name

Empire wants order, Stormcloaks want freewill, both want peace. Empire doesn't believe in freedom of religion, Stormcloaks are (mostly) racist. Strangely enough, I've seen basic Stormcloak guards that were female, yet no female Empire basic guards. Both factions support same sex marriage (everyone in game does for that matter). Both are good, both are bad. I choose the "F*ck both your factions" faction.

I've played Skyrim for thousands of hours and have bought it on almost every platform it's been released on. Some I've never downloaded amd played. Just bought it for no reason lol.. Sometimes running hundreds of mods at one time on PC. I've always wanted to watch someone else play. I could never find a good playthrough to waste hours away like I could when was young. Just sitting on the couch watching my friend play on the Xbox 360. I've been watching the shorts for a couple weeks and now decided to check out the channel. Glad I did!

thank you for installing SkyUI lol. Its appreciated. The normal skyrim inventory system makes my head hurt. Also, thank you for keeping a light modlist, its nice seeing vanilla skyrim and not anime-ized skyrim. i'd recommend installing enhanced lights and FX. Makes interiors look way nicer, gets rid of the ambient lighting placed everywhere. It doesnt affect performance at all, at least from my testing, and theres configurable options for how dark you want the game to be. As viewers need to be able to see and all. The more hud mod is good aswell, displays more information when hovering over things. Tells you if the weapon has higher damage then your current, and even says what enchantment it has without you having to pick it up first and look at it in your inventory. Immersive hud is a personal favorite for me too, it auto hids HUD while you're just exploring so the game looks prettier, and everything comes up again when you get into combat or hover over an item etc. Its amazing how a simple removal of the HUD when you dont need it can make the game feel completely new.
