BEWARE OF THESE PROBLEMS.......HEADGASKET FAILURE, OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUES (ADD OIL CATCH CAN TO FIX), COMPLETELY REMOVE EGR SYSTEM & CLEAN CARBON, REMOVE THE REAR BATTERY FAN & CLEAN VERY GOOD, ELECTRIC WATER PUMP GOES OUT WITHOUT WARNING..................AFTER YOU DEAL WITH ALL THOSE ISSUES THE CAR WILL GO TO 300K MILES
I own the 2010 4 trim that comes almost fully loaded. I've owned the Prius for over a year now as of 2022, thankfully at the right time before all the chip shortages and increasing gas prices. And even with the GPS and Satellite Radio technology, in 2020s standards it's pretty much dated, so I eventually upgraded to an aftermarket stereo with includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The only major repair I had to address was the brake booster system. I just replaced the tires on my ride as well. My car is pushing 200k miles and still rides. No regrets.
Thanks! I’ve been trying todo more like this when I have the time. I thought me driving around talking about the car and what’s ever on my mind might annoy people, but seems like you enjoy it!!! More to come for sure! Thank you. Chad
$3k (USD) for a 2010 Prius with over 310k miles (498.9k km) here in the US. I think that is simply outrageous. It would've been $1.5k 4 years ago. I'd hope that the battery pack has been changed at least once, battery fan/battery fan plumbing cleaned at least 4 times (6 times with dogs), electric water pump, brake booster system, EGR system cleaned at least twice, transmission fluid replaced at least twice, etc. too many things to list. Heck I might not even offer over $2k at that point unless I see a very decent history record (which is pretty dang rare- most people drive their cars WITH issues then just sell it to unload their problems onto someone else).
@@southernmotorcompany2006 AWESOME!!! My dad recently got one and is pretty clean, always interested in seeing the conditions of other H3's out there!!
So I recently bought a used 2010 Prius 5 fully loaded with 120k miles on it for 12k , do you guys think I over paid? There was asking 12.5K but the lowest they go down was 12k so I purchased it from a private seller .
I found a 2013 Prius C with like 71k miles for $8,800 on the marketplace. It has an R title due to a past rear-end damage, but looks perfect in the pictures.

I have a 2010 Prius Hybrid. 160k Miles. Bought it in 2023. Very economical and comfortable car.

Considering the 2023 car market, I would buy this car in a heartbeat.
I love Toyota Prius
just bought my wife a 2011 which has 62k miles, i hope it last atleast 4-5 years!
It easily will so long you maintain it. I saw a 2015 30 miles from where I live. 320k+ miles and still running with no issues.
theres some that have gotten to 1 mil with no big issues
@@DylanTedford there’s a 2009 with 144K no problems where I am. 47mpg?!?! Is that even real!!
My dad has a 2004 it's really old and makes some sounds while driving

We have in Europe the Toyota Auris. I have the Auris Touring Sports.
Wish i could get it now for that price!
Price is o-k, but for another 4-5k you can get a gen4 with less miles in most markets. At least it's a 2011.
Video was good.
I've heard you must not buy a 2010, but the rest of this 3rd Gen is a must-buy, so should I get one next year?
i PAID $3500 FOR MINE.
How many miles?
that same car is selling for twice as much today
👍🧡💚😍 I love your Toyota pruis hybrid

Definitely bro, idk where you’re at but in San Diego most 2011s with around 90-120k miles are listed around $10k.
even $350 is overpaying. 3rd gen is junk
this man is allergic to turn signals
my dream car is gonna be toyota prius
It'd be useful to know the trim as well in the future
Lmao I appreciate you driving the prius but then doing the car guy thing and going omg look at that car over there thats unrelated but cool
not sure
Lol good luck finding a 2013-2015 prius with less than 60k miles for less than 20k

Wow
Its WAY overpriced.
In my country it cost around $24,000
