You should look into the supplemental over the counter meds some seniors get. My mother gets around $40 to spend at rite aid or CVS every three months I think. I believe it's part of her ss medical benefit

Miss G slowly each day you seem to be getting better. The goody box has so many useful things! I take cranberry tabs daily. I like drinking dr pepper zero, even though I shouldn’t. I limit myself to 1 per day. I force myself to drink 60 oz of water daily. Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water Miss G. You don’t want to get dehydrated. ❤

Well did they even swab your nose to send to the lab? Urgent Care tested me for Covid, RSV, & flu. Then they x-rayed my chest to rule out pneumonia. I am so sorry. I think you still should go to the ER
@@glendasully they swabbed both nostrils to test for covid and the flu. Both were negative. But the nurse practitioner who examined me acted puzzled what was going on. She prescribed the typical Zpak, medrol dose pack and something for nausea. I may go to er tomorrow if no relief.

If you're not getting any better, I urge you to go back to urgent care and make them do a chest x-ray. I've been fighting a bug since the end of January and they kept telling me it was just viral, but I wasn't getting any better no matter what I did. Finally I got a different doctor who did a culture of the phlegm (sorry, I know that's gross) and found it was indeed bacterial and put me on antibiotics right away. Finally, I'm feeling more human again and my voice is back, throat feels better and cough is almost gone.
Tylenol. , (acetominophen) effects your liver...motrin , (ibuprophen) , aleve and naproxen effects your kidneys...old nurse here...not judging you.. just didn't want you to be taking too much of the medications that indeed effect your kidneys❤

According to blood work I had done, my vitamin D levels are low too. My doctor wanted me to take prescription strength but, when he told me how much it costs, I said no thanks. My new policy doesn't offer that benefit. In NY State there's a program called "EPIC" that pays part of the cost of prescription meds
