It just occurred to me that you two look like a synth pop duo that would be opening for Giorgio Moroder

Just speaking of Star Trek in general: Years ago, I did make an effort to watch all of the episodes from the original series. I think I got a few episodes into season 3 before falling off for no real reason, as I was enjoying the run. Recently I got to watch a screening for Forbidden Planet (previously had only seen clips), and it’s impressive how much of it, from style of set and clothing design to terminology was borrowed from it by Star Trek (Star Wars definitely gets a lot of its terminology from that movie too).

I’ve always considered this one of the best episodes. It’s definitely the best comedy episode. So many great moments and acting throughout, most of which you covered. My top episode is either Balance of Terror, or City on the Edge of Forever. Probably Balance of terror. And I am a fan of David Gerrold. He wrote a book called “the man who folded himself” which I read when I was in 6th grade. It was the trippiest book I’d ever read, and really blew my mind. It pushed the idea of time travel into places I’d never thought of, even though I had lived on a steady diet of comics and sci fi movies and tv shows. I discovered Philip K Dick the next year and really went out there, but that’s a different story. Tribbles is a true classic, though. Great video!
