I think the other big advantage of these is that you can move part of the unit to test whether you can make a charge - for example - and then move the rest of the unit. Lots of people get markers to leave until they’ve finished but this is easier - more natural. I’ve got a set and excited to try them out.
Interesting product. I honestly hadn’t given it much thought about what to do when a unit changes formation outside of its starting point in an MDF tray. The MDF trays I order don’t have the rear side filled in which allows for the joining of smaller trays etc and likely would also mean that the bent up bit won’t get in the way of anything
Very interesting idea, but I don't see myself ordering them. I've at least shared the link to them and your video with those in my gaming group, so if any of them decide to buy them, I might jump on board, but I'm very happy with our MDF movement trays that I've had made at work
These look like a great idea, you could also just reform into a line with a metal ruler Probably the best reason to use these is that you don’t really see them so they don’t even need painting
Hiya Stuart.. great idea with the magnetic trays :) Regarding the tabs I noticed when you bent them up they were slightly proud of the edge of the tray. Maybe if they were bent flush to the edge of the tray the full three ranks /would/ fit? Perhaps using a tool for bending PE would work?
Neat idea, I guess - I'll admit, it's not exactly a product that I see a personal use for, though, as I barely ever use Marching Column in game... But if I was, and if I didn't have any movement trays, I suppose these would be as good as any other for the purpose! Good review at any rate! 🤟 Happy holidays.
I ordered their mag trays a year ago when they sold them to match the bretonnia starter set... they're great. I really like them. The rapid reforming is a little unnecessary but their magnetic trays are great!

Interesting game aid, thanks for highlighting it
Thank you
Those are slick, nice idea
They’re good fun

That’s a really good shout, I hadn’t considered that at all.

I’m definitely going to be giving it some thought about how I might make them work together.
These look really nifty!
They’re very fun
Great Video!
Thank you

Yes 💯, some solid hobby time savings as well.

I normally bend them on a sharp edge like a table. Gives a very neat bend.
Yes this would have been a better idea, I think I’ll do that in the future.

The whole range is really quite versatile, I’ll think I’ll be opting for some for 40k with my son, even if I don’t use them for TOW.
Thanks for covering bens stuff
Pleasure, he has some great ideas.
Why is the Warhammer Pre-Orders page down?
