We love you Stu! I too have just started empire- or should i say Marienberg, giving them more of a renaissance deutch/netherlands feel and also gonna make my flagellants to just obsessed with the sea god and will puts of lots of fish themed unit fillers and for the main nobles i'm thinking heaps of peacock feather stl's and gold statues.
Very fun sculpts. The main thing that has turned me away from buying them at this stage was the price a decent unit would set me back by and they didn’t necessarily fit easily into a main dwarf army….but as an addition to an empire army especially with that new character who removes disadvantages of mercenaries now we are talking 😀. I’ve always thought the Empire was a place not just for man and I was definitely hoping the arcane journal could help towards this and if not perhaps in the future the likes of halflings, dwarfs, ogres and men could march together again just like 4th and earlier editions. As far as the credits scenes go….if that dwarf is old enough to be from early editions he may just be a wizard 😂
This is really cool. I’m kinda doing the same thing with my bretonnian exiles. I’m using the models interchangeably between empire & exiles, & I’m definitely grabbing some empire units to be brigands when I play exiles! I have a question, how do you keep your brush tip like that after changing paint / going back to the wet palette multiple times? I feel like my brush just turns into a mess as I get into my painting session over an hour or two.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to pick these minis up, but seeing your paint job convinced me. Excellent job!
Thank you very much 😊
Fantastic little Marauder Dwarfs l remember buying them in a plastic box of ten
They’re lovely little sculpts

Very nice. You’ve sold me on those sculpts!
Love it! My plan is to have a mercenary brigade with the imperial dwarfs, dragon company, and the siege gun.
That sounds amazing, so much fun adding mercenaries
Lovely stuff. I hope to get some of these little chaps one day!
Thank you 🙂
