I paid pretty much exactly 200€ for a new 2000+ point army. I got one Starterbox for 150€ and sold the book and templates etc. I got an additional box of KOTR on horse for 40€, 4 Knights, 10 Peasants and 2 Pegasus riders on the secondary market for 25€ and a few high quality resin prints from third parties for 32€: 1 Trebuchet, 2 Damsels/Prophetess and a Lord on Warhorse. I built unit fillers for 12 Men at Arms and 8 Archers, converted 8 archers in squires, kitbashed 6 Grail Knights and exchanged a few bits from the KOTR on foot box to build 6 Questing Knights. The remaining KOTR sprues I used ford 6 Knight Errants and the rest are KOTR. It's a pretty decent army for a really good price
I like how you think a Duke is a bit too much at 1000pt, but then put an absolute wrecking ball of a prophetess in there anyway :p. This is a very useful video and I'd love to see you tackle Errantry Crusade and Exile list in a similar manner along with other factions. Keep up the great work!
Ha. You aren't wrong. The Damsel can hit like a mack truck, but at least she is grounded! Groups are different and I would definetely recommend anyone watching the video, or reading this comment, adjusts their lists to fit the group so everyone has a good time. I also really want to get a similar video for an errantry list soon. Its my favorite way to run Bretonnia. I didn't spend hundreds on models during the pandemic to play peasant!
I love these videos. I like the dismounted knights but more as a 5 man unit used to flank opponents or protect artillery. I like them a lot more in the exiles list.as a normal size unit with the demonology lore. i see grail knights as bait. Put three on the board and get the attention of your opponent as you move other units across the board. Questing knights are just for fun games. They just don't have the survivability at that point cost to me. Great video. Keep them coming. I will watch any of them you do even if you do elves.
Maybe! I am a little afraid of doing a dwarf video because I am already dangerously close to buying into a dwarf army, and if I really dig into the list building it will probably put me over the edge!
I am not sure I got this right about the prophetess build at the 1000 points mark. You gave her Arcane Familiar to make sure she has Spectral doppelganger. That effect sounds more like the effect of Lore Familiar for 30 points. Because Arcane Familiar lets you choose speels from two different lores. How would Arcane Familiar be used to make sure you get particular spells?
Love these 500 to 2000 vids. I'd watch one for every faction.
Thank you for the kind words! Every faction seems ambitious, but I’ll have one up for Skaven Sunday and Warriors of Chaos sometime next week!
@@MTHMiniatures cool

In your video chapters, in the third one (the one for the 1500pts army) you wrote 15k points ! However really cool video boss !
Thank you! I will get that fixed.
For Highlands miniatures, I've had to print between 88 and 94 percent to make them line up with GW
Nicely done. Vampires, Bretonnia... Maybe a Dwarf one next time? :)

@@MTHMiniatures Yeah, maybe... but at least you will buying into them strategicly, according a plan, not as an inpulse-decision. :)
Really cool, the stuff looks great and I lvoe escalation elagues.

Yeah pretty sure one of the FAQs agree with you on the x per 1000p. You need a full 1000p for those things.
