A Nelson Gideon Bible with dates in the center column? Very nice find! They go all out with the pronunciation marks too, even putting them in the book titles! Definitely worth the $3.

That's neat, I got a red one when I was in middle school and an orange splatter/flower design when my husband and I went to the Merrie Monach festival in Hilo, Hawaii.

I have purchased some odd Gideon, Bibles, but I admit I enjoy watching people review them more than me spending money on them. I had no idea about that color system, that is cool!!

I know what that font is called: Its called, "Awesome old school font thats better than new font" font. Just wait 'till I review that REB I picked up. Thats some exquisite font in there too.

Gideon Pocket Testaments are given away free and therefore can be individually sold by the recipient (but why would you?). On the other hand, hotel/motel complete Bibles should say "Property of the Gideons" and/or "Not to be Sold". Every 5 or 6 years hotels receive a complete set of new Bibles. The old ones are then collected by the Gideons, re-covered with a soft paperback cover, and placed in prisons & jails. Individual Gideon Bibles will occasionally turn up in thrift stores but a large number of them at one time should be considered stolen property and returned to the local Gideons.
Half of the colors for pocket Testaments on your list are incorrect. Wikipedia updated their list with at least one correction but it still contains errors. Not sure why you verbally used the past tense to refer to the green college edition. Here is a correct list:
Orange: given in sidewalk distribution to Middle/High school students
    Green: for college/university students
Red: for distribution to parochial schools and private schools not wanting the additional helps such as "God's Plan of Salvation".
Digital Camouflage/Desert Camouflage: different covers for different military branches.Desert storm special edition is out of print.
Dark blue: Police, fire, EMTs, county jails, chaplains. Also Spanish Testaments.
White: for nurses and other medical professionals.
Light blue: for distribution by the Auxiliary only.
Brown: formally the PWT, Personal Witness Testament.
Burgundy: Personal Worker's Testaments (for individual witnessing by Gideons).
Periwinkle: Personal Worker's Testaments (for individual witnessing by the Auxiliary).

The Gideon Bibles are placed there in hopes of those who need them will take them. They replace any bibles taken from hotel rooms.

Well, it is not official Gideon policy for people to take Gideon hotel Bibles but extra copies are provided to hotel housekeeping staff for replacements.
