Surely the 1.6 engine from the Fiesta st deserves an honourable mention? People have pushed over 400bhp on stock internals which is very impressive in my eyes when standard its less than 200.

Sure you could get 300K miles out of it if you never take it to the track or run it into boost but if you're a serious competitor you're going to spend more money rebuilding it than if you had just gone with a larger motor & less boost or had just built the engine before extracting big power. Making power is one thing, making power reliably is another.

I like these both racecars, the STP civic Sedan and S13 silvia.
What Gearbox Is that?
coming down the second turn it reminded me of Days Of Thunder.
This silvia using outdated turbo technology. With a modern compressor and turbine design this thing would be pulling way harder and be way more responsive, similar to a n/a engine when tuned properly.
3:44 is intense. I would love to have that transmission in my integra 👌🏽
Civic has a sequential, dog engagement gearbox. Probably $20,000 minimum, plus adapters, mounts, shifter, linkage, axles, clutch, flywheel, starter and much more. Including a bunch of fabrication. You could easily spend over $30,000. And that's for the cheap stuff.
シビックフェリオカッコよすぎ👍
