MIKE MESSING UP BEN'S HAIR IS THE ULTIMATE HIGHLIGHT IN THIS. T__T so cute
Very true
:D
You guys keep getting better and better, from the editing to the recipe customization and execution, everything looks great, you're really doing an awesome job! Keep it up!
probably one of my favourite recipe videos you've made. I'm craving tapas right now!
I'd love to try all of these recipes. The problem is though, I don't have enough money for the fancy ingredients and definitely don't have enough for the equipment i.e. blenders or those dough stirrer thingys. So i think it would be a great video if you guys made "5 amazing dishes you can cook for under £5".
peter dabski, you know electricity has only existed for about 150 years while tapas have existed for centuries. The only 'fancy' ingredients here are the spices-they do cost but buy them one at a time and then you have them for awhile. As for mixing dough or chopping things, build up your arm muscles! I don't have those things and I can manage even though I'm an old woman.
@@bcaye Thank you. There is nothing that a food processor can do that we cannot do by ourselves. It might take more time, but so what? 'Fancy equipment' is mostly about saving time, not about otherwise impossible techniques. So don't be lazy, just work it and you will be perfectly fine on a low budget.
Also tomatoes and bread are not 'fancy ingredients' 😲. Far from it! They are the most basic cheap things you can get. Tapas are not meant to be expensive, they were meant to be the cheapest 'lid' to a drink you can get.
Food processors aren't that expensive. It all depends. You can get a cheap one on amazon or a thrift shop. Also, you can substitute ingredients to suit your budget.
It is called "pa amb tomàquet" which literally is bread with tomato. Great job guys!! Really loooove all of your recipes. Big Hug from one of your Catalan viewers from Barcelona
I didn't know that tapas was a Spanish dish. You learn something new every day.
Could you do another version of Tapas? Maybe a gastropub type?
I was the photographer shooting pre-wedding outside your studio yesterday afternoon. Thanks for letting us in!!! I am sure the new couple would be cooking with your recipes.
I'm from Spain and I'm very pleased with this video! The stuffed piquillo peppers is an awesome idea, my mom stuffs them with a bechamel sauce with shrimp on it, and serves them warm with sofrito. It's delicious :)
I'm gonna try this stuffing!
I love how Ben pronounces tapas like "tap ass" lol
you should have used a piping bag to fill the peppers would be a better finish and quicker :)
You guys are so inspiring. ^^ I got up, went to my kitchen and then remembered that I'm struggling to even boil some pasta. I sat down again and spent a few more hours watching your videos. Good job. ^^
Just got my Sorted book today....guys its amazing :) you should be so proud, you're awesome, i feel so sorted.
Very true!
when I was in Barcelona I had all these things (except the chicken, I'm vegetarian) I loved the peppers but not the stuff inside them and the Spanish KNOW how to grow tomatoes!! I don't really eat bread when I'm in the UK but no meal in Spain is complete without pan de tomat :) The best thing I had there, though, was the most simple - PATATAS BRAVAS!!!!! :D
Depends... two as a main course. Or perhaps 4 if you're just picking at it over a few drinks.
I've noticed that you use a very varied collection of pots, pans and the likes. It'd be really cool if we could see the equipment you use (knifes, pots, accessories etc.) somewhere!
this looks delicious! I need to make all of these, my brother and boyfriend will love it
I like how the ad for your video is another one of your videos :D
The stuffed peppers look sooooo good. Definitely going to try this out!
More simple tapas recipes please! These were great.
I love to take chorizo (either sliced or diced) and stew it in either red wine (spanish origin, obviously) or cider, letting the juices reduce down all the way into an intensly flavoured sauce. Also can't go wrong with patatas bravas and alioli- diced potatoes parboiled then fried off until crisp, tossed in spicy tomato sauce with garlic mayo.
Do they have a restaurant? Cause of not they really should have one, their dishes are genius!
Ahhhh mikes way to say thank you is adorable XD
I miss these videos soooo much.
We're working on it! But with them both at uni know we're struggling to find a date! Tweet them to remind them! :D
"oh no no we don't need another one!" hahaha
Haha - thanks for coming back! :D
Can we stuff the pepper with piping bag as we do on the cake?
If you put a little bit of ham (jamón serrano) on the pan tumaca.. makes it even better! Loved the video can´t wait to do some myself!
this is a traditional food here in tunisia :D but you made it more fancy like usual !
Can there be Spanish week eveeerry week, please? I wanna see part II of the tapas including croquetas with ham and spanish tortilla ;)

Piquillo peppers: Pea - Key - Yoh (the 'u' is silent after a 'q')
It means little beak, because of the shape.
Cant believe you missed the garlic prawns! Please do garlic prawns one day!
Pa amb tomaquet. Those are the catalan words!!
Love you guys!!!
I love your videos. Your tapas looked delicious.
Let me point out that the Catalan word for the bread with spread tomato is 'pa amb tomàquet' which we pronounce: pa'm-tumakat.
Just loved everything you cooked. Must try it .Many thanks
Saving this to favorites, 'cause i'm so trying this, it looks delicious! Keep on guys!
Tapas! Reminds me of my holiday in Barcelona and Madrid. Please do something with padron peppers, they are one of my most favourite food. Any idea where I can buy them in the UK as well?

Yes.

I love watching these kind of vides and I'm 11
Pa amb tomaquet :) im so proud i discovered you today from the tastemade channel :)
You're right... blunt knives are more dangerous. More likely to slip and cut yourself than with a sharp clean knife!
Really love all of ur recipes u guys r gr8t...
Can the piquillo peppers be replaced with any other kind of peppers? And what if you get raw peppers, do you cook them?
I had the tasty potatoes tonight with some sticky BBQ ribs! Great potatoes and great combo!
Any chance you can show me how to make bombay potatoes to keep the boyfriend happy?
Haha and how do you do that?
It took me a while to realise you were talking about pan de tomate!:')
Ah ha... then perhaps wait until tomorrow and check out our website... our Spanish theme continues (with the usual SORTED twist of course)
ben is such a cutie!
With receipes like that , that when you realize that it's just about quality ingredients !
Beautiful well done
So gooooooood!
I was so surprised when you added garlic to the tomatoes in that last dish.
This looks so delicous :P
More bed hair Ben? Please? :) *bats eyelashes*
Spanish theme this week? Awesome!
can you please make patatas bravas? I'm really terrible at making the potatoes crunchy!
Could you do a paella receipe please? xxx
Maybe next time other recipes with seafood how it would look "Pulpo a la Gallega"?
You should ask Octopus Paul we made a really good ending in UEFA XD
the bread with the tomato & garlic called "pan tomaca" for short - comes from "pa amb tomaca" which means "bread with tomato."
J
Pa amb tomaquet*
whatever... not like it's a world renowned language
Julieta Lucca you don't need to be rude, she just told you nicely the correct way to say it :/ pa amb tomàquet all the way!
Gotta love how easily she insults a language just because someone corrects her in the use of the same.
why is mike so cute omggggggggggg
wow great!!!!!!!!!!!
They do wash their hands, they just edit it out.. You see after they skewer their hands are MAGICALLY clean from all the seasoning..
Ben and mike so cute! My OTP!!
Do you think you could ever make a sick day recipe?
You could use a piping bag to stuff the peppers!
I want to eat this!!!! But a lot of the ingredients aren't readily available in my country. Damn :(
Dear Ben The peppers' name is pronounced "pi-ki-io", qu in Spanish sound like an English K
Great recipes, especially pine nuts with goat cheese!
Can I just point out that you should pronounce "bruschetta" as if it had a k (brusKetta), at least in Italian that's the right way to say it :)
Great idea for a video. :)
lol at the beginning I was thinking; "poor guy look at his arms"... lololol You fooled me.
could you guys do something with tofu? i've seen your vegetarian dishes but i don't think you have anything with tofu. :)
I'm using this to impress a woman i met who just got back from Spain
Awh mike! And ben❤
so, what wine could you drink with that?
